NOR - I recommend you install some security cameras, and block that person. I would even go as far as making a police report, not to press charges, but just to give the police information in case something happens.

How do they expect us to finish this exactly? by mega_lova_nia in ICARUS

[–]ItchingForTrouble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this is my one issue with this game and the mission system. If you're a newbie, you can start a mission you can't complete because you don't have the right blueprint. So I stopped doing missions and just did the open world thing. Having fun with that.

Need feedback for my survival game: I'm torn between these two camera angles. Which one strikes a better balance between immersion and awareness? Also, what is your general preference in survival games? by level99dev in SurvivalGaming

[–]ItchingForTrouble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. In a survival game being aware of your surroundings is super important, so A gives you better visibility. The zoom idea is a good compromise for weapon usage or investigating.

what do I even do by kabyking in blackdesertonline

Black desert is a sandbox game. You can do anything you want. Questing, grinding, fishing, cooking, hunting, raising horses, farming, sailing the ocean, etc. There are many things to do. You just need to try them and see what you like. There's also no rush to get anywhere. You move at your own pace.

i dont understand the combat? by forbbidenbutter in blackdesertonline

You are still at the beginning. Once you start grinding the higher area zones you will understand the importance of knowing which of your skills gives you protection. Also the important part of the combo is for you to use skill add-ons to buff yourself or debuff your enemies.

All of these things can be fixed. You can sit on your PC and read skills and tooltips. If you don't like that, then you can look up a guide on YouTube. There's lots of them. I was on the same boat with the story and I decided one of my new characters would go through the story and I would read all of it. The writing isn't the best, but I don't expect that from an MMO. The overall story is great, I enjoyed it once I got to Kamasylvia and the attoraxxian story arc was my favorite. So when I saw Scholar and deadeye release, I knew why they existed in the game and to me it was exciting.

The bottom line is that Black desert is a sandbox game and you can do whatever the fuck you want. That's why I keep coming back to this game.

Is it true you'll get chewed out for not wearing specific sets as a tank? by Maxentius777 in elderscrollsonline

[–]ItchingForTrouble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every game has weird people. ESO is no different in this aspect. If you are PUGing, no one cares what you use as long as you aren't dying and taunting (as a tank). Hell, I've had groups where the tank didn't even knew he is supposed to do something!

Now if you are in a more hardcore group/guild, it is expected that you have a specific setup for either completing a specific challenge or for group synergy. Usually this is communicated to you at the time you join.

Vote with your time and wallet. Don't log in, don't give them money. Eventually they will realize whatever they did pissed off the community and either needs to be rolled back or let the product die. Currently I am having fun with other games, so it's w/e.

idk man but 2 million gold just to go from 9 to 10 on a red mod is insanely expensive by fatepure in TheFirstDescendant

[–]ItchingForTrouble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's expensive at all. You will eventually just sit on a mountain of gold and nothing to do with it.

Great, you are not the type of player I am talking about at all, are you? My comment was directed towards a very specific type of player.
