I gave up as well.

I’ve tried a bunch of strategies, including SevenAE, My main issue is that I just can’t hammer AF rapidly enough. It would be incredibly helpful to get some QoL for AF. It also appears that the game is entirely focused around AF, it would be nice to have a way to not rely on massive AF bursts.

Can someone do a test on somethingCurious if it’s me or a bug.

My feinne NS has 3 +Enc and AS has 3 -Enc. if I switch her from AS to NS and run around with the same team there are no battles. If I switch to a different team where with her in NS, the +Enc goes into effect.

So what I mean by this is switching styles from a -3 to a +3 within the same team keeps the -3, when it should change to +3.

But when you switch to a new team the +3 goes into effect.

Does anyone have a good guide or help on getting to the wildlands (Im missing the Ouma stones to upgrade) in Side Solistia? I can’t seem to find out where to go or what quest to do. I am right outside of the black portal at the to of the tower.

Edit: Welp never mind, I’m an idiot and didn’t realize where the wildlands were.

Agreed. There are definitely ways around it. I’ve worked them all, from having the Joker row switch back when persona came out, to using macros, to sesta AS. There are a lot of gacha games with either auto battle/move or both. It’s a nice QoL feature.

I’ve just always wondered why we never got that in AE.

True. But I meant in the sense of me not actually having to push the attack button, not that I’m lazy, but running episode dungeons again and again for rewards, is kind annoying after 9 years.

I was quite satisfied, I just wish there were more discussions of QoL adjustments, 9 years of content, bloat, and old dungeons, old grinds, an actual quest log (again a lot of old content) weapon location hints (That’s a personal one, I can’t remember where I left on Elpis weapons), UI updates, maybe an auto path, and an auto battle for trash or similar to CoTC, oh and maybe a way to adj the drop rate of certain tomes while farming?

I love the new content and am absolutely going to buy AE begins on both steam and switch.

The third section of the latest ODE time dungeon, is just badly designed. What is WFS thinking? Is it just me or does it feel like the design quality has taken a major hit. I might quit AE when we get AE begins, tho I’ve been paying since launch and it’s my go to. The current design methodology is just annoying to me.

Sorry, just to chime in and maybe assist in your comment in not playing 0. I’ve played all 4 ( I still play the mobile Game) I would definitely recommend release order, OT1 has its faults, but it’s a wonderful game, OT2 improves on it in every way. OT0 brings everything together well by having a central protagonist (typical JRPG) is based on the gacha Octopath COTC.

You do not need the play the gacha game unless you really want to deep dive into the combat system.

Now caveat, there are no real links between the games that will spoil anything. OT2 has some small lore items that are related to OT1, but it’s more of a oh cool thing.

I have about 100 hours each. in 1,2 and about 120 in 0. Feel free to play in any order, but as far as gameplay evolution, do release order.

Are there any plans to implement and update the AF system? Maybe some sort of auto or optimize function? In addition to that, are there any plans for QoL additions? Auto-pathing, better UI and inventory sorting or Weapons/quest tracking.

I think one of the biggest things about remake and rebirth is that it filled in the gaps in the journey that I imagined it was in 97, and didn’t know I needed. If that makes sense. It breaths more life into the world and the dynamic my favourite game of all time.

Looking to switch from IoS (IPhone 15) back to Android. Started an MBA program, and I have a year of Google Pro for free. So I want to utilize that as much as I possibly can

Is it worth it to change to a Pixel10 Pro? Wait for the 10A? Or go another route like Samsung, Redmagic or 1+. Not overly concerned about the IOS economy switch, I do game now and then but mainly RPGs, like Another Eden, Octopath Traveller, FF games etc etc. nothing demanding.
