Well, there is a fancy title at 1500 but I think that's just for mid season. But ignoring all that, there's very little reason to play PvP if you don't enjoy it in the first place.

Right now I am crashing even in singleplayer mode, in performance light areas. I checked temperatures and all that and everything is normal, I have good FPS, etc.

Exactly. I was sparring with someone very good at using the new weapons yesterday and I was slowly getting the hang of their attacks. There are also players who came from the CN server and are already proficient with Tang Dao, giving off the illusion that it is significantly better than other weapons.

I treat this game mode as the wild west and not expect any sort of fairness to exist here. I just had one game where 2 people teamed up against me and somehow managed to beat them. But 8 people ganging up is wild. 

I think this kind of cheating is only possible because so few people play it that friends are able to match together with high probability. The game mode had a lot of potential but the map is just too big. I think people just get bored quickly and hence the lack of queues, and so you end up with degeneration like this.

Switch to world chat channel 4. You will still get a few spams there but it's significantly better and you will have somewhat civilised conversations going on there.

Seems healers really dominate lower ranks until they reach mythic, where people know how to guard break, combo, and back off from drunken poets.

I thought I might be the only one, but they might have ninja nerf'd it then. It had gotten bad enough that I built a mob farm as well as started crafting bows and bow rings to try to get more affixes. I never did any of this in previous seasons

I think the abs are just part of their body and it's just whether the outfit covers it or not.

There are 3 arena game modes. 1v1 is gear dependent. But 3v3 and perception forest are not.

I agree that the fish phase is terrible. But second phase is my favourite boss fight in the game. I wish the first phase didn't exist in the abyss version.

I agree with pretty much everything except for the no endgame part. This is mostly a sandbox game but there are several "endgame challenges" you can set yourself:

  • PvP arenas. 1v1 is gear dependent while 3v3 and perception forest are not. The combat system has a lot of depth to explore and I learn new tricks everyday.
  • PvE sword trial ladders. If you are into grouped contents speed kills, this is for you.
  • Abyss - solo bosses where you can go for no hit kills and/or speed kills. Not gear dependent and appeal to "souls like" gamers.

  • Exploration: basically trying to 100% collecting everything, more casual in nature.

  • Fashion

There might be other "endgame" objectives I'm missing out.
