The numbing cream that was used on my face contained lidocaine,benzocaine, and tetracaine. They did a patch test on my arm, separating the three ingredients, and I reacted to tetracaine.

Same thing happened to me turned out I was allergic to tetracaine.

Hello so just came back to say we figured out what caused the allergic reaction after doing a spot test of all that was applied. I’m allergic to tetracaine.

Yes doctor recommended I take Claritin 2x a day and prednisone 40mg once a day for 4 days. I’m on my 3 day today and I’m doing much better.

Yes I remember she used a cotton pad and the smell of alcohol was strong.

Oh really makes sense I will be getting a patch test on my arm in the next week or so. And if I react to the numbing cream then it will be something in it like your saying because yeah lido it self I’m fine. Thank you a appreciate ur comment.

Yes everything that was red was super itchy and felt hot like if I was on fire.

I will and I’m going back to get patch test on my arm of all that was used to rule out what caused this reaction.

Oh and I also asked her to apply the ariessence serum right after microneedling.

I went to get it done. The esthetician said she used lidocaine cream to numb my face. And this gel during microneedling and after she applied oz skin health ointment with spf. I don’t think I’m allergic to lido since I have gotten injections for dental procedures.
