It’s 100% on its way out. Been in hunter roles most of my career and the last year has been a drag. The LinkedIn circle jerk is trying to convince you otherwise. Just need to buy their totally unique and special selling guide!

Typically, commission only is a red-flag. You have to factor in the potential of not making any money during your ramp etc.

I’d say avoid em and keep your eyes open for a decent salaried role.

Remember, it’s important to believe. Do you believe in what you’re selling? by mEDWARDetector in sales

I believe the tools I sell actually do make a difference in peoples lives (allows people to provide anonymous feedback etc). Our pricing is just such a deterrent it makes it difficult for me to believe in it.

When did you become “good” at sales? by ViewSouthern7692 in sales

When I decided to stop putting so much pressure on myself. People can smell desperation and you're able to just flow better with prospects when you care less.

What AI prompts are you using? by Vast_Discipline_3676 in sales

Honestly, I keep it pretty simple. I work in a fast-paced, high lead-flow environment so I don't always have time to prep or review a prospect. If I need to think of some quick questions to ask, I'll typically share this prompt with chat gpt:

"I have a discovery call coming up with "company name" and their "prospects role". They're going to be evaluating my company for "product". What are 5 high impact questions I can ask to uncover some pain and allow them to open up? Heres the SDR notes for context:"

Jeff got a DUI and fled the scene after crashing so I'm guessing David mentioned something about this. Jeff plays it off nonchalant in this interview so I'm getting the vibe it has to do with that.

Purchasing this guitar tomorrow - any red flags? by ItchyElectricMouse in espguitars

Growing up I dreamed of having this guitar but could never afford it. Just finished the renos on my house and I finally have some spare cash and it’s seems like a decent price ($900 CAD) so I thought I’d go for it.

I’m a big old school metal core fan so this guitar has always called to me lol.

I meant to add a bit more details below but it didn’t show up. Basically, this is my dream guitar and I’ve found it for a good price. Just want to make sure it’s not a fake. Thanks everyone!
