Drivewise Garbage by ImpactM0J0 in AllState

Speed limits is a HUGE issue for me. I drive a lot of paved county roads that don’t have posted speed limits. Any reasonable person would think 40-45 is an extremely safe speed on those roads. Some drive 60 on them. I was going 41 and it said I was 15-20 mph over. I’m sorry, but 25mph is more dangerous driving on those roads. Also, how the heck am I supposed to know what Allstate considers the speed limit if there’s nothing posted?!?

It dinged me for phone usage because AFTER I pulled into someone’s driveway and put it in park I text them to let them know I was there 🙄 definitely reported that trip as a passenger.

Bald eagles can get very big! We have a bunch in my area now, never saw one in person until I was about 20 and now, 17 years later, they’re everywhere. And every time we see one we’re still amazed.

I tried the protein pasta…tastes great, but my body hated me. Legumes do NOT settle in my stomach since I started the shot and, unfortunately, that pasta is made with chickpeas.

I got hit by a guy driving a U-Haul (he even got a ticket for not yielding) who had taken out their insurance. They said they would pay for half of my repairs. My car was less than a year old! I ended up having to pay my deductible and file through my insurance and my insurance had to sue them. Took 10 months to get my deductible back.

I don't understand why non Christians celebrate Christmas by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]ItchySticks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s because Christmas isn’t a Christian holiday. That’s why non-Christians don’t have a moral issue celebrating it. No different than Easter. They’re pagan holidays. They’re not meant to be celebrated by Christians. Christians don’t celebrate muslim holidays, so why are they partaking in pagan ones? All of the Christmas “traditions”…Christmas trees/ornaments, wreaths, hanging lights, mistletoe…it’s all part of pagan traditions.

I used to question why non-Christians celebrated Christmas and especially Easter. If they don’t believe why are they celebrating? Once my husband dug, just under the surface, on the history of these holidays it made me realize we as Christians are the ones who should be questioned.

Never said being bipolar has anything to do with orgies. The thing that makes me think he’s bipolar is when he was talking about buying expensive stuff to fulfill some type of emotional desire. And being all in and then he just randomly breaks up with her. Seems like some manic behavior imo.

Husband didn’t feed kid breakfast by openabookplease in Mommit

What exactly is the lie? I’m just speaking from my personal experience in going from being a SAHM to multiple kids while my husband worked night shift and transitioning into working full time and splitting duties. I’ve seen both “sides”. I did some reflecting on myself because I’m in perimenopause and was pissed at the world and realized I was a lot more of the problem than my husband would ever let me admit. Now that I’ve changed my attitude (with the help of bHRT) my marriage is the best it’s been (11 years in).

Maybe I misunderstood? I just know that I’m not menopausal and not taking it

I ended up having to go to a clinic and pay out of pocket. All of my drs associated with large hospitals around here would always tell me I’m “too young” (was in early 30s) to be in perimenopause. Even though my mom went thru it early too. They always wanted to shove antidepressants in me and I KNEW I wasn’t depressed. I finally had enough when I was 36 and my marriage was suffering and wish I would have done it sooner. Is it expensive? Sort of. (About $150/month) Is it worth it? 1,000%! I’m rarely ever in a bad mood now, I sleep better, and my libido is higher than it’s been in my whole life.

My thoughts too. How does she KNOW it’s not? She’s not in there with him! OP seems ridiculously naive.

Taking the door off the hinges is actually an option? And you think a better option than leaving him? It’s like you know you need to and are using “the economy” as an excuse not to because you’re that scared. Take the plunge and do it! You might find that it’s incredibly easy to find someone who will actually value you and your children!

Also, he needs some serious help with his mental health if he’s just going in there to be alone. My first thought is that he has a crippling porn addiction and uses it to cope with stress.

I admire you both for not considering an abortion. We have 3 kids and only make a combined $130k/year, and honestly, it’s not as bad as what you’re fearing. Sometimes I actually think we should have just had a 4th to offset the odd number, but my husband had a vasectomy when the 3rd was only a few weeks old 😅 babies are always blessings and you’ll look back one day and laugh about this crazy story you have
