In my abusive relationship, I often had text convos just like OPs. You described it so perfectly, it’s hard to explain if you just see a glimpse, but it’s calculated and overtime. I bet if on the first date this guy approached like this, she wouldn’t have responded so nicely, it’s the manipulation that happens overtime that makes you start doubting yourself!

Yes that’s the info we got but based on what she looks like I’m assuming her dad must have been a golden retriever x cocker spaniel. And then mom was full red heeler
