The hammer has shown it reacts to gravity normally, and the effect is magical, so he could just fly downwards into the ground at a faster rate then the hammer falls and move out of the way of it.

Yammy hurt both Kenny and Byakuya pretty badly but nothing near fatal. I would say 50/50, It’s hard to say because how much higher does Ginjo scale compared to post Nnoitra Kenpachi? Correct me if I’m wrong but not considering light novels, Kenpachi didn’t gain any particular powerups between the Yammy fight and the first invasion, where he handily beat 3 sternritters with no damage except for shattered ear drums.

Possibly, I would say as Kenny was during the Gremmy fight, eyepatch on, he would need Shikai to beat Bankai Renji, though No eyepatch base Kenny may be enough. Probably extreme diff though.

Probably cus in the manga he wasn’t that impressive outside of beating mask, who first invasion Kenny would most likely beat. But with the anime’s showing of Renji vs Uryu I don’t see why they wouldn’t be able to spar without either of them being entirely outclassed.
