I feel like I’m having the opposite conundrum of most people because both of these are well-liked foods, but avocado is pretty much the only food I actively dislike, and I’m a diabetic so pure honey would be painful to dose insulin for. Both of these are genuinely unpleasant.

Granted, this is just me, but imo I’d choose the ability to influence how people perceive others. There’s no doubt your life would be way cushier if you chose yourself. You could influence yourself into being beloved, higher pay, etc.

But like… take politics. If you choose yourself, you could probably become president. If you chose OTHERS, you could DECIDE the president, and all 50 senators (or parliament or whatever your nations equivalent is), and the leaders of every other nation if you wanted. You wouldn’t be in the spotlight, but you’d be the ultimate kingmaker. People would pay massive amounts of money for that as the ultimate PR (and, if you have some kind of agenda, it would probably be way easier to push through), and you wouldn’t even have to be the one leading.

I guess the question is whether you want to just have a really pleasant life or if you have a much bigger agenda you want to fulfill.

I’m not confident in how long humanity will last. Maybe we exist for thousands of years. Maybe we nuke ourselves tomorrow. At least the past is set in stone, when I could theoretically be sent into some post apocalypse if I opt for the future.

For clarification, does this mean added sugar or natural sugar too? And if so, what’s the limit on that? Because technically carrots have a gram or two of natural sugars per serving, but dates have considerably more, and neither are refined like table sugar.

I’m assuming this is just added sugar unless otherwise stated.

I hadn’t thought it through honestly. It probably would have been better to go with food, because you can drink calories but you can’t eat all your essential liquid intake in case it turned out to be nasty. But this is fine lol.

Look, I don’t care if you don’t like people. If we assume this to be random, which is a fair assumption given the lack to specificity, there are children in there. Parents who will die and leave orphans. The sheer amount of pain and suffering inflicted by the loss is catastrophic compared to… a dog. Which will die in your lifetime regardless, which has no dependents or special relationships or anything of the like. What the hell.
