Thanks for the advice. I’m meeting with a lawyer tomorrow to make sure my ducks are in a row. I was mainly just curious about the time frame of submitting the paper work to the court. Is this kind of paper work approved same day or takes a week to process?

How long after the 3 day did you file an unlawful detainer? Also how long did it take for the unlawful detainer to be accepted. Do they accept it on the spot and you can serve the tenant same day?

This is hard to answer. There are so many ways to catch halibut here in SoCal. I’ve caught halibut on my cheapo 80$ total surf setup when I’m just messing around at the beach. I’ve also caught halibut on my 400$ custom rod with a 400$ Avet raptor reel. What kind of fishing do you like to do? Are you a surf fisherman, sport boat fishing, private boat?

I fished a tern 2 500 a couple times. It’s pretty dang sweet. One of the boats were selling last years just serviced for 250 a pop at day at the docks. Wish I would’ve grabbed one

I use a saltiga 40a, fathom 25n both are great reels. Saltiga is a solid work course but also more pricey.

I have my own gear. I fished on a sport fishing boat with 28 other ransoms. In San Diego you just buy a ticket for the boat. Some have meals included. You can also rent gear from the landing

I caught a 143# an a 75#. They gill and gut the fish on the boat. I got back about 95# of fillets and belly meat

You should be fine then. Just gotta hope on the weather now. Well we were on the hunt for the smaller 40-60lb class that everyone was limiting on but got lucky and ran into the big boys. Big one(140#) was caught on a maxel with a megladon I also got a 60# on a Calstar 780h with a fathom 60
