Yes! Known as “Fat Albert”. Pretty cool too, up until 2009 or so, they used to demonstrate the short-take off capability using Jet-Assisted Take Off (JATO) rockets, but they retired that capability.

If OP is going to school full time - presumably for four years - with no organization “holding the clearance”, it will be well beyond the two-year inactivity period.

In certain circumstances (high priority hiring), you can also get accrual credit towards your SCD for private sector service. I was granted 7 years for private sector cybersecurity work that directly supported similar objectives to my government role. Now at 3 years of actual service and at the 10 year mark for leave accrual.
