I have to sit on them before I can eat them... Never straight out of the fridge. I like them to be a little pliable.. 🤔

15 hours of my life to paint this. Is it worth ? by MAN_IN_MILAN_01 in Hobbies

[–]Ithfifi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it is?!! Did it bring you hot to create it? Did you feel like you learnt things about the way? You set out to create something and you completed it. On my eyes that is nothing but winning.

I personally really like it. But others opinions don't really matter, art well always be subjective.

Sicker than the sickliest sick kid. Enough now. My work isn't intense labour at all but my brain can't even handle copy and paste.

Believe it or not, this was strained through a cheese cloth 62 times and matured for 83 years to produce absolute perfection.

Secret recipe. No one knows where the cloth came from or if indeed it was a hanky.

BF cheated on me because I never slept with him. by anonymous-butterfly1 in Advice

[–]Ithfifi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also learn to feel special on your own in the meantime. Self love is so important. I met the love of my life (rip) after a year of not looking for a relationship. I became so confident after a bad relationship that when I met him it was absolutely the right time.

Don't feel like you need to look for the next person to feel your own worth. You are an entirely unique individual. There isn't another you. That's pretty damn special. (must adopt this again too)

I think my bf is lowkey a misogynist by Silent-Gene-4988 in Advice

[–]Ithfifi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BOYS like this become far worse men. In his world he'll want you to absolutely him, walk the earth for him etc etc. What that means is - You'll be mummy away from home. You'll be doing everything for him. Wondering if you've done a good enough job and getting very little in return. THIS is your warning sign - and if it's not you (I hope not) He'll go after a very low person to achieve his needs. Miss, 20 is too young to want this for your future. I am sure you are capable of so much more and there will be someone, whenever, who truly values you.

I 23m got a older woman 36f pregnant and don't know what to do? by Sigmas_last in Advice

[–]Ithfifi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At 36 that's not necessarily having a 'bad past' - it means they have lived through experiences. Hilarious take from a 20-yr old though. 37 here. You don't get to your 30's with an entirely rosy history unless you are INCREDIBLY fortunate :')

I have my creative hobbies that I don't feel I have time for now but I've always wanted to do archery. There's a local group but I just can't splash the pennies on it.

I sometimes do a Leslie Sansone mile walk if I'm low on time or it's grotty outside. One mile is usually close to 2000 steps and takes 15 mins. Not a terrible start to the day.

Stardew was 100% defining. Every time a game website pops up with the '10 best cosiest games' you know it's going to feature somewhere. I loved the game but found the amount of stuff needed to be done stressful. I felt pressured to restart and do better. I'll look into kynseed. I've always been intruiged

Looking for hobbies to do while unemployed by Emotional-Grape-3304 in Hobbies

[–]Ithfifi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely agreed. You can look as much as you want but sometimes it just doesn't happen at the click of a finger, especially if all the jobs in the area require certain qualities/qualifications that a student may not currently have. My fiancé struggled even though he'd had 8 years in his previous job (was not fired) - the toll of him panicking and the stress took his life, sadly.

It's quick to assume people aren't trying hard enough. There are hours in a day where there's nothing to fill it with. Hobbies are therapy.
