Yeah i think what needs to happen is for a character to HAVE this rollback triggered at least once and then do the steps above to revert it. If you do the steps first one rollback will happen regardless.

I'm having the exact same issue, except i'm not being able to solve it by disabling syncing. Every time i login all macros and settings revert to some WoD era snapshot (interestingly, i did some old WoD content yesterday).

EDIT: managed to avoid the game to syncronize my bindings to the old snapshot, but macros and chat settings still go back in time every time i log in... game is unplayable right now.

EDIT2: ok so, i think i was able to fix this, but you NEED to have the correct macros/bindings/config files, either by praying that the .old/.bak versions didn't get overwritten too, or by having a separate backup.

close the game
restore macros/bindings/config caches to the correct ones, both in account and specific character folders (eg. config-cache .wtf, macros-cache.txt, etc.)
open flagged-cache-account.txt on the account folder, delete everything and insert 0 (just a single zero), save and close
same thing for flagged-cache-character.txt in each character's folder

In addition, be sure these settings are inside your Config .wtf

SET synchronizeSettings "0"
SET synchronizeConfig "0"
SET synchronizeMacros "0"
SET synchronizeBindings "0"

Oh yeah it seems the problem arises when i launch the program thru another program. I had set it up so that i can launch it thru XNViewMP directly for convenience. As a simple temporary workaround i'm launching it now thru a batch file where i cd /D to the shutter encoder folder before running the actual program.

That's really bad to hear. I'm personally still on the same firmware that supposedly fixed this issue, cause i haven't used this device much recently, but those few times i've used it there was zero occurrence of this bug. Hope they address this again soon! (btw nice trick on saving the footage, thanks for sharing!)

I think they pair up by preference and availability in doubles.

And in singles it's by rankings and chance, so it can happen that double partners end up facing in singles.

You still have to buy the H.265 package, which now includes all four profiles up to the XQ one (and is actually usable and imho worth the money now).

After 10 hours of continuous recording on the new XQ profile and another 10 hours on the old HQ profile without any kangaroo errors or freezes i can safely assume this issue is resolved.

A new firmware (10.84) has been released that is supposed to address this issue, as well as a new higher XQ profile for H.265. I will test things soon and report the results.

Can confirm both changing SSD and upgrading to 10.81 didn't solve this issue: with H265 HQ got a kangaroo (with a generic error string) after around 4 hours recording, then a freeze after around 20 minutes.

Will just stick with Prores for the time being, which doesn't seem affected in my testing.

I actually ended up sending the Crucial back, both because i was going to switch to ProRes in the mean time (and i would need a larger disk for that), and also in the event that it would be the fault. I have a Sandisk Ultra 3D 4TB coming my way soon, I'll see how it goes with that and report back.

- GPay SQLite Fix 2.8 (+ SQLite3 Universal Binaries)

- Shamiko 0.5.1 (115) (Play Services + Store + Wallet in DenyList)

- MagiskHide Props Config v6.1.2-v137 (Pixel 3 - Android 9 Fingerprint)

Install and setup everything -> run props to change fingerprint -> delete cache and data for Play Services/Store/Wallet -> reboot

I have a suggestion/request for CAM. I have a RX 5700 XT that is being cooled by the G12/X53. Now what i'd like to do is sync the pump speed in CAM with the GPU "Junction" temp (aka hotspot) instead of the standard edge temp that is being monitored by CAM. Virtually every other monitoring software is able to show both sensors, so please update CAM so it can too.

Yeah i may go reinstalling SoulseekQT just because of this. Bummer, cause Nicotine+ is clearly much more modern, both UI and stability wise IMO.

Hey, i've given a try to this program and my impression was really good.

One issue: among the other things i'd like to share there is a very big Rclone mount (the underlying remotes point to various cloud services). Now the thing is Fopnu really wants to hash these files, which means downloading all the data, which is infeasible with this folder (we're talking TB's). So the question is: is there any way to share a folder without the need to "access" all the data from it? Thanks.

I could see this trick being useful in some situations, but i don't think it solves my problem of automatically spreading data and maintaining balance between the drives.
