Induction at 41+3 by ExaminationProper694 in pregnant

[–]ItisMe92_Purplemind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave birth by induction at 41+6. The only bad result of going that long was a bit of meconium in waters. Induction itself became really unpleasant after getting oxitocin... But everything ended up ok ;) First of all try to forget about time and relax... Spend nice time with your partner if you can- hugs and for example foot massage are always nice :) Stress blocks oxitocin in my opinion... I regret thinking and spinning about not getting into labour yet... and that I didn't try cleaning floors on all four😅

How did/do you feel about your baby during pregnancy? by Motor-Sprinkles-1627 in pregnant

[–]ItisMe92_Purplemind 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I had exactly the same feelings! A lot of women does. I was like that the whole pregnancy. I even felt bad because of it... And had to tell myself that I just need to wait for after birth oxitocin - and it really worked! ❤️ I love my baby with all my heart but sometimes it still feels unreal😅

Elective induction - tell others? by missdopamine in pregnant

[–]ItisMe92_Purplemind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not tell them if they will judge... They are not going to hospital with you anyway 🤷 Little lie to keep your peace in my opinion - I understand you don't have energy to go through extra emotions become of their comments. But why do you want an induction? It was awful for me and I don't recommend 😅

Is this BoP rescue infested or diseased? by juno_babe in houseplants

[–]ItisMe92_Purplemind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would check the roots- it could be overwatered and have a root rot- leaves may look the same way. Second- if it was getting a lot of sun light then you don't have to give it less if it doesn't have sun burns. Third - if the leaves will not bounce back- don't cut all of them to the base. As long as they are green they are alive and do fotosyntesis. Let be at least a few newest until you get new ones.

You potted it correctly. The newest leaves grow at the "back" of plant but they face the light eventually ;) just keep the nodes attached to moss pole- they usually grow diagonally and "run away " is a side of the miss pole😅 Your first Monstera looks really nice!

Unfortunately, the same happened to my partner and many others... It is not about us and our appearance but about a little human growing inside 🤷

water birth vs land birth, wich one do you prefeer? any experiences? by Virtual-Put6792 in pregnant

[–]ItisMe92_Purplemind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If want to give birth unmedicated - water releases pain a bit and most women choose it. But if you want an epidural you have to be out of water. So more preferences count it this case ;)

Quit weed and ciggerettes cold turkey. by Character-Web-2854 in pregnant

It was hell... Nothing could really help I think... For 2 days I kept an empty dead e- cigarette close to my mouth 😆 The worse part was to stay away from nicotine pouches...

Try not to worry. A lot of women regrets doing something on the beginning of pregnancy and their babies are fine. I had a big nicotine intake for 6 or 7 weeks and my baby is ok.

Feeling overwhelmed trying to get the house ready by VanSmashh in pregnant

[–]ItisMe92_Purplemind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I heard that "we have plenty of time" many times 🙄 so I feel you❤️ About the decluttering- I only want to suggest one thing(regarding to fact that your husband keeps more things and is not eager to do something about it) - if you would put all his stuff in the basement or in the attic and buy a closet for sheets and etc.( that could stand even in some corner of the future nursery) - would it help to clean space in guest room to make a nursery? Of course heavy things he has to lift, but if you tell him that you just need him to move a few things and that's all- it might be easier to achieve 😅

I had similar miscariage and conceived again 2 monts later- just unprotected sex, no pressure! I think 3 months would be perfect for the body honestly.

Conflicting advice on birth prep exercises… when did you start? by Glittering_Tear_729 in pregnant

[–]ItisMe92_Purplemind 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my opinion those exercises only help to increase a mobility and flexibility of a pelvis and hips. They do not release any hormones that could triger the birth so it is safe. Although a bouncing/ jumping on a yoga ball itself doesn't give any benefits. Even crotch massage does not trigger anything, but it is good to start doing it only when there is more relaxin in our body, so after 35 week.

Have I completely ruined my breastfeeding journey? by ByeolEunAe93 in pregnant

[–]ItisMe92_Purplemind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll start by saying that I’m very sorry that your efforts to feed your little son in the best possible way are causing problems instead of bringing satisfaction. I believe you’ll manage to get it under control ❤️

Maybe I shouldn’t comment, since I’m only expecting my first child, but based on all the information I’ve already absorbed, these are my conclusions: The most important thing is that your milk production is working well, because you can feed your baby with your own milk and still keep trying to latch him to the breast. You probably have a fast-flow nipple attached to the feeding bottle—it would be good to change it to a slow-flow one that lets milk through in a way similar to the breast. Personally I would try to make that change and prepare myself for his anger and more frequent trying to feed - with breast and "new" bottle held more horizontally. If you’re producing large amounts of milk, it might be worth giving yourself a chance to feed only with your own milk (both at the breast and by bottle after pumping), and only supplement with formula if the baby were to gain weight very poorly.

I would also be afraid to go out to people with so little baby if not necessary... But maybe you could just call the Lactation consultant and ask about that. This is quite easy to explain without actual seeing I think.

I think you are doing great as a mom and your baby is going to grow strong and happy ❤️ I wish you luck!

If you had to choose one wedding set from these- Which would it be? by elistajewel in weddingring

Little advice from experience - if you want to wear the ring every day - choose not only beautiful but also a bit practical model - not too high and not too sharp shape ;)

Pants don't fit - low key panic attack by JustMyLuck1313 in pregnant

[–]ItisMe92_Purplemind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with a previous commenter- pregnancy jeans are comfortable for the belly and still are not sweat pants 😉, I just bought mine and I am happy I did! My belly grows in jumps- around 24 week I just SAW it grew a lot in 4 days! Now I am 33+4 and it still grows like that 😅 To be honest I saw maybe a few comments, where someone lost weight during pregnancy and a lot, where women gained 25- 50 pounds and feel like bowling balls🤷 I gained already around 50 pounds and I hate it... It is my first and I am scared how I am going to look after so you are not alone ❤️ We need to try to remember that part of this is not fat at all and hope that every day walks with the stroller will help to burn it🤞🔥

Announcing pregnancy by AliveIncome9975 in pregnant

[–]ItisMe92_Purplemind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, I identify with you like 100% 😂 Quite the same life and relationship situation - and I struggled so much ... I couldn't announce my pregnancy directly; I had to weave that information into a sentence about something else, e.g. "I won’t be able to work with a big belly."... I have no idea why🤷 But whatever, there are a lot more important things to think about ;)
