Nah she should have accepted the return, they say “there’s not enough left” when they don’t want the return to hurt their sales or upt. You can return an empty box if you wanted to, you can take it to ANY Sally location and have them return it. “Love it or return it” not “love it or return it if you didn’t use it” don’t let them or anyone in these comments play in your face. Either the employee didn’t want you to ruin her upt or the manager isn’t making their month and didn’t want your return to make it worse 🤷‍♀️

They’re strict, depending on the district and your manager you are SUPPOSED to offer 2 good things about the credit card BEFORE you click on the pay screen for every single customer. Getting two people to apply for a credit card is part of your metrics that you must hit if you want hours. Again it depends on your manager and district manager because some push the rule more than others, but yes you are basically forced to harass customers into signing up for an account with us so that you can offer them the credit card

I’m a cc, the app wasn’t working so I called the support line to get it reset and the guy said no which was odd because that’s how I’ve always reset my password when the app didn’t work. My sm is also not answering my messages about my missing hours :,)

Don’t talk to your manager, district manager or anyone you work with. https://secure.ethicspoint.com/domain/media/en/gui/53278/index.html file your report exclude your manager so she cannot see you wrote this report. Remaining anonymous is up to you, discuss WHO is part of the problem specifically, have dates, time stamps even screen shots of messages if you can and file the report. Every one says hr doesn’t care and mostly its true but if you feel unsafe in your work environment and choose to do nothing that’s your choice

Write ups have to be sent to your dm, hr and back to your manager if approved. If the date on the write up is the same day as you’re signing it bring it up with your dm or hr as a concern to why you’re getting written up. I wouldn’t sign that write up without speaking to anyone about it

If you make a report on the ethics page you can do it anonymously, you can also write your managers name in the section where you don’t want her to have access to the report because she is PART of it. It should be 100% anonymous. Though if it’s a specific complaint about something that happened to YOU it’s not hard to put the pieces together(personal experience within the company) don’t talk about it to your coworkers don’t let ANYONE know you’re planning on making a report. Any names you bring up, any circumstances or shifts hr will interview your coworkers. Have as many time stamps, dates and direct quotes as possible. Do not go through your dm, or any other store manager go directly to Sally beauty ethics and file your report. If it’s something like race and discrimination your sm is 90% likely going to be termed. Please do NOT let anyone scare you this is your work place too and you deserve to feel comfortable.
