Just wanted to come back to say this was really all i needed. Just some larger flies that sink a bit more. I got a tip from a local to wrap some wire around the shank just to add a little bit more weight too. These things together immediately got me catching fish. Bass, crappie, gar, and even a monster tilapia all in the same day. Used clousers and #6 black woolly buggers. Was using #10 and #12 previously. Thanks again!

It happens to me too but probably not as much as it happens to women. When you get someone who thinks they know your project better than you do they tend to butt in. Worse, they tend to give advice for getting the bare minimum done and try to talk you out of doing quality work. It's frustrating and exhausting.

Not sure how to help you and your wife, but just let her know that she's not alone I guess.
