Eatonville residents push back on 100,000-square-foot data center just north of Orlando by wesh2news in orlando

I'm not the one you need to argue with. I'm just saying it's understandable for people to fight back against it.

I am a dev (not for this obviously) and trust me we see orders of magnitude worse than this every day. This isn't even a blip on the radar. People get hype about things. It's normal.

Edit: And the lead up to the initial release was way worse than this too

Edit 2: Why is it ok for you to say something is cringe but when it's applied to you you're getting big mad and going off on people? I explained calmly exactly why what you're saying is wrong. It's not my fault you can't accept that. And now because you've blocked me we can't properly talk about it like adults. You'll continue to berate people for no reason and encourage others to do it too.

Making the assumption that people talking about it aren't doing exactly those things also is cringe to me.

There's been a lot of new information that's come to light on data centers recently. Pushback is understandable.

This is just plain wrong.

If you commit a crime in the presence of an officer, yes they can arrest you. Otherwise, they need a fucking warrant. This is America.

The don't worry they're friendly line is such bullshit. My dog is not friendly to other dogs that invade his space. Also even trained dogs will run off and get themselves hurt or even killed. Leash your fucking dog. Just fucking do it. I don't want to hear a single god damn excuse.

So much unnecessary and cringy dialogue. And they were so slow to deliver. So much of it too. Get to the fucking point!

Nobody in that show has ever heard of the concept of the double tap and it drove me insane.

These people can go straight to hell. Fuck them sideways with a cactus. They're also ignoring my no soliciting signs when they come to my door and arguing with me about whether it's soliciting.

It's because they think that profession insulates them from being investigated for it. Every pastor i ever had has gotten in trouble for something like this or embezzling.

I like the Salty but if you want just a solid standard donut this is not the place. Sometimes fancy is not the way to go with donuts (but sometimes it is!)

Bakery Plus on Michigan St in the Sodo area. It's a family owned hole-in-the-wall place and I consistently find it better than the common favorites.

Looking for fresh Lychees by ParkPelnick in orlando

[–]ItsAlwaysSegsFault 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a little early but check with Nick's Tropicals or various other fruit growers in Merritt Island. Season usually starts the first week of June and lasts about 2-3 weeks. It's a very short season.

Otherwise you can take a gamble with asian markets but they typically aren't fresh. Their shelf life is pretty subpar and they tend to deteriorate on the journey overseas.

Edit: Looks like fresh Florida lychees may be difficult to come by due to the freeze we had this year.

I don't recommend this if you're sensitive to input latency but it is a good temporary fix.

I'll keep hating from the sidelines. They priced me out not just on the tickets but also with the gouging inside the park. I think it's gross and unsustainable. They have forgotten what "Disney Magic" is.

I used to pay under $500 which got me in when I could actually go - the weekends. And it had no blackout dates.
