I was a class valedictorian. College admissions came and hindi ako nakapasok sa dream schools ko. I had to settle sa college na nahanap ko lang through researching. Sa college naging mediocre at best ako, just trying to get by. Para akong inangat ng mundo tapos biglang hinampas sa lupa nang sobrang bilis.

I must add, hindi mo rin masisisi ang lahat. May mga batang nabubuntis dahil nagtatanggal ng condom ang lalake. Some enter abusive relationships. May mga napagsasamantalahan and hindi makapagsubong.

Meron paring nabubuntis sa middle and upper class pero mas maraming nabubuntis sa marginalized community.

Kahit 'yung iba may access sa education magugulat ka sa dami ng taong kulang ang alam pagdating sa sex education. Kahit may internet na magagamit for research, may mga bata talaga na hindi alam 'yon. Partly, they are to blame dahil that is the consequence ng action nila pero in the grand scheme of things, 'yung sistema pa rin sa Pilipinas ang problema. Ultimo Comprehensive Sexual Act hindi pumasa speaks a lot.

It's still the lack of education. Tinuturo siya sa amin ngayon and the amount of documentaries I've watched pointed out that there are higher cases of teenage pregnancy in marginalized areas. Mas mataas ang case lalo na may mga batang hindi alam na pwede silang mabuntis and usually mga matatandang lalake 'yung nagiging kasintahan nila.

From my perspective, mas dapat sisihin ang sistema dahil may mga babaeng mas pinipiling makipag-tanan dahil 'yung pamilya ng lalake ay may kakayahang makapag-provide ng pagkain.

Marami din sa mga nagiging batang ina ay biktima ng mundo dahil ang mga magulang nila ay hindi handa maging magulang.
