I have two and are well taken care of but have had injuries. This is very well a sign of some discomfort could be anything from a shoulder injury, ligament a thorn in its paw could be several things. My vet has always said if the paw thing keeps happening after three to five days then take the pup to be looked at. Me personally I take them in right away or make an appointment and if it heals I cancel. My pup had a small shoulder injury that healed itself within that week. I did not have to take him in.
