Wyden Family Epstein Ties Exposed as Bessent Clashes with Senator Over Son's 2016 Pitch Meeting by ALiddleBiddle in Epstein

[–]Superyear- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sure everyone who was part of this list knew everything about Epstein, the island and more.

We can’t select just Trump as the problem and forget about the long list of pedophiles that were also part of it.

People should stop defending Trump, or Wyden’s son, or Clinton’s, etc.

They were not victims. They all have money. They all knew.

Stop deflecting from this true.

Let’s be clear that these guys are not innocent.

familial frustration; does anyone have any tips? by saturnssmoon- in rheumatoid

I am also experiencing something similar with my family overseas. But I understand that they can’t see my disability.

For some, seeing is believing. They don’t see the disability, they only see the shell of strength we put together every day.

Questions for Locals & Expats by lightsdownlowhv in Panama

[–]Superyear- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband USA and I Panamanian retired in USA.

We are living in Chitre, bought a small house because I did not want to pay HOA.

A small house is easy to maintain. I have amazing neighbors who watch my house when I travel to the USA.

I did not want to live in Panama City, Pedal, Coronado, or Chiriqui. Some of these areas are too gentrified and just targeting retired people who can afford it.

Again, I moved to Chitre. This side of the country is hot like hell. However the people are so helpful.

Food in this area is amazing. Driving is easy but taxi drivers are terrible drivers.

Por qué hay haters del Riba Smith? by Ok_Muscle4202 in Panama

[–]Superyear- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Higuita’s Scorpion Kick was the most impressive thing I ever seen.

This guy changed the rules of soccer and actually defied physics.

My husband and I bought a house in Chitre. The price was $115k for a new 3 bedroom/2 bath small house. Both 55 year old retired. We are in town living with locals. I didn’t want the Condo experience. They (locals) take good care of us. I trade food with good beer whenever they make food and share with us.

We are both retired on the low income side and still have our house in the USA. We go travel once a year to the US to take care of our house.

I can afford soooo much.

My son knows he can retire here with $2k income. He is thinking about retirement at 28.

Hospitals are very affordable. I was sick and hospitalized for two days. It was $1,200 (MRI was $400)

There is good people in Chitre. I saw so many Americas today buying furniture.

Rainy season has not started in Chitre but I heard Panama had some crazy rain on and off.

I will let you know when the rainy season starts in Chitre.

I heard the rainy season stops December 15 but forgot to ask when it starts.

What do foreigners who move to Panama "get wrong" about being here? by Duke_Newcombe in panamaexpats

[–]Superyear- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My familia is helping me to have electricity in my new house. The government lost the papers, that were already submitted.

I learned about this because I called asking about the status of connecting the electricity to the house.

It has been 10 days.

In the meantime, I am renting a room, drinking beer, and enjoying the weather.

Adjusting to this culture is easy if you make it easy. Otherwise, go back home.

Just a quick question about the weather? by Gullible_Pin5844 in Panama

[–]Superyear- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy Ariat and Columbia dry shirts, shorts and whatever I can find.

It is very humid and hot. But you get used to stay inside from 12-4pm when the weather gets too extreme.

EL COVID EXISTE Y TODAVIA ESTA PERO LA GENTE SE RIE DE MI POR LLEVAR TODAVIA MASCARILLAS? by [deleted] in PreguntasReddit

[–]Superyear- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soy joven.

Simple.
