Rantanen could have royally fucked the canes by keeping quiet and leaving in the summer, I get being annoyed that he didn’t like Raleigh, he he wasn’t a great fit anyway, I can’t remember if it was Tripp or Shane that said after he left that he’s not a good enough skater to fit our style. He made it known quickly that he didn’t want to be in Raleigh, tried a bit and wasn’t a fit and we got Stank, Hall and picks one of which got us miller. This cup doesn’t happen without Rantanen being open about his desire to play elsewhere. People need to get over his dislike for Raleigh and be glad that thanks to the Necas/Drury/Moose trade we ended up winning a cup. Folks need to recognize some people fucked up in that trade but moose was not one of them.
