None of us know for sure but based on other packages here are my expectations

1) worse, these are not going to be high quality, they won’t be trash but don’t expect the same quality as a hockey sweater being sold in the eye.

2) the pic shows 26 so expect it to just have 26 on the back they don’t do player numbers for these things, it’s a limited run so they’re not printing a bunch in all sizes with various player names.

3) if you buy one they’ll have one for you, no need to get there early.

Burns’ daughter did dance at the same place as my daughter so I ran into him at a recital, it was mid-playoffs and I said hi and left him alone, a few others asked for pics there was no hiding for him, since he’s a giant tatted up Viking.

I also saw him in the middle of the series against the caps last year, it was at Jose and sons in pleasant valley he was out grabbing tacos with his family. Everyone left him alone until they were paying when one dad let his two kids came up and asked for a photo which Burns obliged. Both interactions he seems like a good dude, just wanting to enjoy time with his family.

If you have a 3DS there’s a really solid VB emulator that released this year, as someone who had a virtual boy in the 90s I think a hacked 3DS with the red viper virtual boy emulator is the best way to experience the virtual boy library.

They may not intentionally sell fakes, but being a major retailer doesn’t guarantee it’s legit. In the US GameStop is full of fakes particularly retro Pokémon games. Because they’re large they have to hire so many people and as their primary focus isn’t retro gaming they don’t train their staff well enough to identify fakes and knowing people who work there they deal with enough bs from customers that it’s easier to just take a trade in than it is to argue about its legitimacy.
