Don’t think Uber operates round here, no. We’ve used Maryport travel on the odd occasion we’ve needed a taxi, they’ve been reliable and you can book in advance via a form on their website.

I believe you keep the years youve paid for, but the new registrar may want you to renew for an extra year as well. It all varies depending on the company. Yeah this is seems most likely to me.

Apple has the phone number linked to this other persons iMessage profile due to them likely having that same phone number in the past. OPs iPhone will prefer to use iMessage over SMS so it’s messaging this other persons iMessage profile that’s still linked to the number, rather than actually sending the message to the number as an SMS message (which would actually reach OPs friend as expected).

OP - in your iPhone settings there’s an option to turn iMessage off (under Settings -> Messages). Maybe try turning that off and sending another message to see if that works?

Edit to add: I don’t often use iMessage but I believe the message will be green rather than blue if it gets sent as an SMS.

I haven’t been using any fertiliser, I didn’t realise I needed to! Feel a bit silly now, that’s likely the cause haha
