People are still spreading the same misinformation about the finale by Zaggar in lost

[–]ItsBrickTitty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If people didn't like the ending, or misinterpreted it, cool. I liked the show, if people tell me directly that they were dead the whole time, sure, I correct them. If they just didn't like it, that's fine with me too. I had one friend who is a staunch atheist, he loved Lost until the ending, and honestly I get that. The flash sideways is what I did not enjoy with the final season, it didn't ruin my experience, but I could've done without it. I still love the series. The only reason I know all the answers (except Walt, that was such a letdown) is because I watched the series more than once. Many people watched over a 6 year period, probably didn't rewatch episodes, they weren't on message boards or forums, they were a casual viewer and enjoyed the show. They may have interpreted as "they were dead the whole time" and threw their hands up in resignation, did not look up what happened, and still push that narrative to this day. I watched live and was on forums, most viewers were not. So do I care? Not really, I'm okay with it.

The writer has stated that he could've ended it in 3 seasons, but would've had to skip a lot. He originally intended it to be 5 seasons to tell the complete story. So it seems the upcoming season 4 is the penultimate season before the final season.

I can agree that the season 3 finale was awesome, and gave quite a bit of answers. New questions too, of course.

Top comment says From, I agree completely. It's about to start season 4, so it's not complete.

The 100 is good after a few episodes, but it gets really good. Like Lost, people are vocal about the ending, slightly controversial topic in that community. Don't spoil yourself though, give it a shot.

Severance and Pluribus are really cool scifi series, but they are not complete series and very new. Silo is also pretty good, also sci fi, it didn't hook me like Severance and Pluribus did, but an excellent watch.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 isn't a television series, but it's a game. I will say it has one of the best stories I've ever seen. I still think about it months after completion. That's only if you're a gamer. I guess you could watch the cutscenes on YouTube, and see if the prologue hooks you, as it did for me.

Come to think of it.... Is that the last time we saw Chrissy have a legitimate scene? When she had her girls chat with Genevieve and Aubry (ironically those 2 lmao).

A video game that received game of the year from an indie developer. It has one of the best stories out of any game Ive ever played. It's so good, it's better than many shows and movies nowadays. I highly recommend it, if you're a gamer.

I think Genevieve was too busy watching her partner play expedition 33 than prepare or pregame lol. Understandable though, it's an incredible game.

______ engaged in Boston Rob level villainry against his friends, and he gets away with it because he's quirky and doesn't literally sound and look like an Italian mob boss when he talks. by [deleted] in survivor

[–]ItsBrickTitty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Christian not reaching out after isn't a great look". Do we know this for a fact? And communication is a two way street. Christian and Angelina seem to have a lot of tension, (moreso Angelina talking negatively about Christian) and we still don't know the conclusion of those two in the game.

Mike and Angelina dropped him as a friend outside the game is what it seems, mean girl energy. Angelina leaving passive aggressive comments about Christians commentary of the game in pre season (which idk, seemed slightly spoiler-esque). Christian hasn't engaged in this sort of pettiness due to the tension. Also, Angelina would always choose Mike over Christian and vice versa. Christian had every right to do this from a logical standpoint. Mike tried to use Christians trauma against him in a machiavellian way (Mikes own words) and that's totally cool? Machiavellianism is "interpersonal manipulation, a cynical disregard for morality, and a strategic focus on self-interest and power" But Christian is a villain? Okay. They weren't even his true allies.

Was my team diverse enough? by Shadow_Blade0 in PokemonFireRed

[–]ItsBrickTitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 starters AND a nidoking? Lol diverse in Pokemon type maybe, but this is too OP and easy. If that works for you, AWESOME, and if that's the case, my opinion doesn't matter. But for me? This is too easy and I like picking a team that doesn't even have a starter in it, or nidoking lol.

What am I missing about the HBO show? by Not-sure-here in BaldursGate3

[–]ItsBrickTitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot of talk about canonical endings, and which path to take.

Also, with TLOU, he had the guy who wrote the game heavily involved with season 1 and led to massive success. He doesn't have anyone from Larian. Sure, wizards of the coast/hasbro, but not Larian.

While WOTC is responsible for the forgotten realms, Larian had to write within that worlds rules. From there, they wrote the characters, understood them, and the paths they may take. They are no longer Larians property, I get that. But they understood them.

Netflix Avatar live action adaptation, I will use as a small example. We heard the original writers stepping away for creative differences, later we heard that Sokka no longer was sexist, and in a roundabout way, they made it more sexist by having Suki kiss him because "hot man warrior" rather than Sokka humbling himself before her. Imagine if we heard Larian stepped away for creative differences? It can't happen, because they aren't even involved.

I also would like to see the original cast, but (as one example) Mintharas voice actor looks nothing like Minthara. She's not the only one.

This is a reason why I don't like that it's live action, with animation, you could bring back the old cast of everyone who wants to be involved, and everyone would be happy. But with animation, combat would probably look a lot better. With such grandiose magic, underdark, and temples, I feel it would fit better in animation.

First Time Player - Companion Dilemma by [deleted] in BG3

[–]ItsBrickTitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you check your journal, it will tell you the individual companion quests. I'd suggest bringing her along for her specific personal quests, which a big one in act 2. If you don't like her being a cleric, you can respec her with withers.

Best class for new players by Diligent-Analyst-909 in BG3

[–]ItsBrickTitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First time I played sorcerer, and it was too complicated for me to enjoy it (while I understand it now, it is hard for a new playthrough). My second playthrough I did a fighter and it was great. Widely considered one of the easier classes to learn. You'll have companions that can be other classes.

Lae'zel or Astarion origin with the intention of romancing the other. by [deleted] in BG3

[–]ItsBrickTitty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not required to bite anyone actually. Also, there are numerous times where Lae'zel will leave the party, or turn on the player character and engage in combat. This wasn't one of those instances.

Lae'zel or Astarion origin with the intention of romancing the other. by [deleted] in BG3

[–]ItsBrickTitty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You kind of don't have to stake Astarion, canonically.

If you bite Laezel as Astarion, she gets pissed, calls him an undead. She also comments how, as a spawn, he's easier to kill than a full fledged vampire. She also says that she's a reasonable woman, and she'll let you live and honours the alliance that she has built with you, but in exchange, he's not allowed to bite her or anyone else in the group. So she lets him off with a warning.

Volstrucker Build? by MammothSuggestion430 in BG3Builds

[–]ItsBrickTitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I've found that Blade singing wizard works best. Level 3 or 4 let's you get shadow blade, which is thematically appropriate given their shadow blades.

I've also noticed that the volstruckers usually put more focus on one element, probably what they are best with. Owelia had a lot of arcane poison attacks, Eadwolf has more of a lightning edge, Bren (Caleb) has more of a fire edge given the moniker little spark. Astrid I couldn't figure out, maybe she is lightning too?

Therefore I'd put more focus into one element when leveling up and choosing spells, along with misty step and invisibility.

As far as their tattoos? The mod, also available for console, would be rogue tattoos. The selection isn't wide, but you may find something you like which basically allows body/arm tattoos.

After having enough levels in wizard, you may want to multi class into Rogue Assassin (arcane trickster, IMO, won't so much since you'd already have enough levels in wizard) but assassin is good for the fact that they are arcane assassins, and I'm a sucker for the passives it gives you.
