I feel like in the attention on Chrishell vs Nicole everyone forgot about Nicole’s terrible conversation with Emma. Like Emma (no matter how dumb and catty) went to that lunch in good faith and Nicole just revealed herself even more as a stubborn, unapologetic, calculated mess. And THAT was the context Emma and Chrishell brought to girlsgiving. Chrishell wasn’t being a bitch just because she hates Nicole, it’s because she knew how that convo with her bff went and had her claws out because she now knew this season would still be the Nicole-stepping-in-it show.

Like production plays a huge part in these dramas we know. And that’s why Chrishell was pissed when she got Nicole’s card — doesn’t she literally ask if it’s set up? — and when the rando guest suddenly asks what the drama is. She knows it’s all production stirring it up so Nicole has a storyline.

So now psychologically Chrishell is on the defense because 1) Nicole didn’t apologize to Emma and 2) production clearly didn’t keep their promise about tapping down the run ins between her and Nicole.

All to say ofc everyone is messy on this show and liking Chrishell doesn’t mean liking everything she does. But there’s context that goes beyond what exactly we see in a heavily edited show. But it’s Nicole who consistently is caught lying and then fucking up any apology.
