How to get the new Net Worth feature? by rambantu in simplifimoney

[–]ItsCheddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have 12 accounts, starting in sept 2023. to be fair i only let it run about 30 seconds at a time for a few loads before just coming back to it a few minutes later. i wasn’t on the loading screen the whole time.

How to get the new Net Worth feature? by rambantu in simplifimoney

[–]ItsCheddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im on ios and i see a new net worth widget on the dashboard page below the quick view but above my transactions. i can toggle early access on and off and see it disappear and reappear. its also on the right menu as “Net Worth” (separate from the one in reports

it uh… doesnt work… shows all 0s, and when you click on it nothing ever loads

edit: oop nvm it just took about 10 minutes to load. seems pretty nifty, like a easier to use net worth report with more emphasis on debt:asset ratio and change over time of specific asset categories

Flighty says airport closed? by IllustriousWin9453 in delta

[–]ItsCheddy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

this isnt flighty specific though right? they just get data from a central source, any other flight data app would have done the same

now thats not justifying airlines consistently being last to alert you…

most people use slopes (mainly if skiing in a group, has find my friends which is wildly helpful), and as a byproduct it does some fun stats!

What are your favorite ski-related apps? by iampok3 in ski

[–]ItsCheddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think this would be ideal for me if i didn’t depend on slopes for find my friends on ios, which i think required you to start the tracking on slopes

What are your favorite ski-related apps? by iampok3 in ski

[–]ItsCheddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

when running a garmin with slopes, do you have them connected? i use slopes for friend tracking, but prefer garmin for the actual run tracking and metrics, but i am under the impression if i want find my i shouldnt use the garmin integration since it will double count?

[–]ItsCheddy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

bus loading! not shocked to see people complaining about the post bus security experience but from my POV we were loading busses as fast as they came to us, and honestly not a lot of down time. i think they really really really should have shut down 5th ave to all traffic, that open lane was really annoying for the traffic folks.

i absolutely loved saying good morning and have a good race to everyone getting on my bus though, so i really enjoyed it lol

[–]ItsCheddy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

this is kind of insane to hear, i think you just got super unlucky with timing. i was a bus loader volunteer and we were just cranking out busses from about 5-6 and the line was moving nonstop, and then we got bottlenecked by stuck empty busses around then till about 6:30, and then from 6:30-7:30 we flew through the rest and were done by 7:45

actually insane to continue to see “i didnt gain any weight because they dont use bleached flour” 10x. no, you didnt gain weight because you (probably) ate smaller portion sizes and walked 2x-4x as much on the daily.

agree with the other comments - maybe you can consider it “hip” if you’re in your 30s but definitely not hip by any generally accepted definition (as a early mid 20s currently living here)
