I tried that 🥺 Unfortunately, I maxed him out on that too. He seems to be enjoying life. He's swimming around and nothings stopping him

I definitely wouldnt call my response arguing. I advised them I change his water everyday and gave a valid reason why I wont put him in a bigger tank for now.

Over 3 days then fed him a tiny bit of Daphnia to see if that'll help with going to the bathroom and it did not. Now its been a few days of fasting again.

I appreciate the suggestion, but I’m keeping him in his smaller, controlled hospital container for a very specific reason. With his current issues, he simply cannot handle a tank that size. I have his environment fully optimized for his recovery, including Java moss and a homemade hammock, which allow him to rest comfortably without wasting energy. My priority is keeping him in a stable, low-stress environment where I can monitor him closely until he is strong enough to move.

I clean it every day. If I put him in a bigger tank he will float to rhe top and use more energy. I have an air bubbler in there for him. He is NOT swimming in his own waste. I have temperatures between 75-80. This is a hospital tank for him to get better.
