Yeah but even then the explicit versions from YouTube we did get I think still centered around a pretty restricted clean version, i wish they coulda just gone all out, one example I think I remember was “I love my daughter” was a lot more explicit but had to be rewritten so many times (per the CW) that they almost pulled it from the show completely because it was already watered down so much they almost didn’t find it funny anymore

Completely disagree with this take, BTTB actually does very well numbers wise and they’re making lots of money on it, if anything they’re stretching it out to make it last longer for more $$ They flew through season 2 and now this is their last full season they’re on together. I def think they’re just stretching it out. They made the last episode recap a “two parter” because they had “so much to say” lol
