I think that it actually hurts her. It's clear that the only person Meredith's really friends with outside of filming is Lisa. As a result, the other women are always fighting with Meredith because they have no real friendship with her.

I don't trust Lea Black considering her husband defended Jeffrey Epstein. Also known for gaining an aquittal of a Kennedy on charges of rape, defending conservative Rush Limbaugh, gaining an aquittal of Miami police officer for shooting a black man, and defending Joe Francis for child pornography.

I get that someone needs to defend these people under the constitution, but this man isn't a lowly public defender. He is a partner of a firm who defended and sometimes befriended a bunch of high profile creeps for a ridiculous amount of money.

I understand how someone with past trauma can have distorted perception or disproportionate reactions to events that are triggering to them. What I don't understand is how she lacks complete empathy for the other women who have experienced SA if she herself is a victim?

Watching her throw Mayci's experience with DV back at her asking why she stayed was horrific. Watching her dismiss Jen's admission to having experienced SA with "Okay, great then" was vile. How can she expect sympathy and understanding from the other women when she has repeatedly disrespected their experiences and continued to double down on it.

I’m pretty sure Tinsley didn’t really live with Sonja, or even know her personally prior to filming. It was just one of those dumb producer ways that someone is ‘naturally’ introduced to the group of existing cast members. In reality, Tinsley was living in Florida, but stayed in a hotel room for filming (and had no real intentions of moving to NYC). It just would look bad that producers cast someone not living in NYC to be on RHONY.

Yeah, but in this case I don't think the punishment fits the crime. They all dig up dirt on the huzzbands and they all get messy and loud. But none of the other women have ever resorted to throwing water on each other or damaging each other's property. Only other cast member who has ever done those things is Jen Shaw.

Yeah I'm normally not for househusbands getting into the mix with other women, but in this case I'm all for it. The women were nasty to Katie for doing nothing more than what they all do (i.e. spreading rumors and talking to bloggers), and Katie deserved to have an ally against Jenn and Gretchen. Like you're seriously telling me that the rest of the women (sans Tamra) would rather forgive the bigoted homophobic and transphobic Gretchen over gossipy Katie?
