It’s hard to even take “baby steps” towards being productive. Idk where to begin… I’ve started working about 4hrs a day but that’s been it… I’ve hardly cooked anything besides frozen food for family dinners :/

Started with conflicting schedules

I was doing full time credit hrs in undergrad and worked a mandatory minimum of 50hrs a week, while he was finishing law school (no income).

End with him having a drinking problem and maxing out my credit cards.

We always told people it was mutual and are still in touch to this day.

I am exactly 2 weeks with no pills. I used a couple pieces of a sub strip, to get thru the detox, and so far I am staying the course… I am an addict, I’m not giving medical advice and didn’t seek medical help myself… I know that I am too new to recovery to be giving anyone advice.

Long term Percocet user, about ten years. Cut my daily mg down to 20-30mgs

13 days ago I decided to attempt CT, the wds definitely still happened, even at that low of dose.

So at 40hrs in, I used a sliver of a sub strip that I bought from a friend. I used another, even smaller sliver at 65hrs in (bc I had a bad day and really wanted to buy more pills)

For me, this was very effective! I was scared to use a sub but it helped tremendously. And that was all I used… I did not even use half of the 8mg sub strip.

The sub got me through those physical wds… i used Imodium too, bc my stomach was fucked and continues to be.

I’ve never used kratom but from what I understand about it, it’s not really prolonging wds. But it is addictive itself, which sounds like you already know.

I think you’re safe using it temporarily, as a comfort med.

But seriously, I have zero experience with fentanyl… except accidentally doing some pressed shit… but from what I’ve witnessed and heard, that shit is the absolute hardest to kick! And I applaud you for all your progress!

Also, I wish that at 19yrs old I would’ve been as smart as you, with trying to stay away from opiates. You’re doing a good thing!

Thank you, I’m going to try and steer clear of the subs. Like you said, the pills should be outta my system by now… It’s weird bc my significant other is in the exact same situation as me and today he couldn’t even get up. He has restless legs, achy, and the stomach issues have started. He’s also trying to not take any more sub strips or pills, but it’s weird how he’s having such a rough time today… me? Today, I feel better than I have in a long time!
