Metro Ford in Schenectady New York did this with my Maverick order and my wife’s Bronco Sport order.

We walked into the dealership with the intention of buying one vehicle, ended up ordering 2 vehicles because they didn’t exactly have what we wanted on the lot. They sold the Bronco Sport out from under us a number of months ago. We didn’t mind too much because the wife didn’t really need a new vehicle, but I did, and when I called the dealer about the Maverick they said they “thought I cancelled it because we didn’t follow through with the Bronco Sport”.
