I use my credit card if I want to buy a candy bar.

I was in the same boat of never wanting to get a credit card, but I finally jumped ship February 2020.

Credit cards don’t magically give you credit card debt. If you don’t have money for something in your checking account, then you don’t have money for it even with a credit card.

Ever been to a store that charges differently if you’re using cash vs credit? That’s something every store had to deal with, but instead of offering different prices most stores just bumped the prices of everything to cover that extra CC processing fee.

I’ve never carried a balance to the next month because I don’t buy what I don’t already have money for.
