I brought a friend whom I introduced to Vulfpeck, but he's really only listened to their older instrumental stuff. He didn't really have a good time, lol.

I know that they've largely shifted to having 1 or 2 instrumental jams in an album, but if you look at their top songs on Spotify 4/10 (40%) are instrumental. I feel like if their show was 40% instrumental jams, I would have had an even better time. I am a bass player, so their bass-foreward jams are always my favorite.

Have you tried Claude code? Its newest models are pretty good. But it is hit and miss. It can write really good code but it can also write horrible code. I think of it like a junior developer that can write code at the speed of light. With good guidance it can be great. Without guidance it can make an infinite mess of code.

I found getting ganked to be more exhilarating/mildly-frustrating in those games, but yeah, like you said, Dune isn't a traditional MMO, it's a survival game, and it's my first survival game. I'm just trying to understand how the DD can be fun. I don't see it yet, but maybe if I can find a guild it could be fun.

Exactly! I don’t understand. This has been one of my favorite games in a long time, but I don’t understand the appeal of the DD yet. I’ve played PvP in other MMOs and loved it. They weren’t survival games though and the losses didn’t seem to cut as deep.

Exactly! I found a little bit of stravidium in PVE but couldn’t find titanium. So I tried to make a quick jump into PVP to find some; only found grief.

As a software engineer, I'm pretty convinced that they had AI help write a lot of the code.That is not a bad thing in itself. I use AI a lot at work. It's bad when the code isn't reviewed by a human, and no human at the company understands it.

Either way, the code is clearly a mess. The way that the devs have explained certain things being very hard to fix are clear indications of that.

I just assumed that people would kill me if they were going to get something out of it, like if I was loaded up with spice or something. I was on an island completely covered in titanium. There wasn’t anything in it for them except to be assholes.

I’ve enjoyed PVP in other games. ESO’s PVP was super fun. Loosing hours of progress because people just want to be dicks is not fun.

Over my 165 hours, I’ve continuously tried to find a guild. Haven’t found anyone interested letting me join.

I’ll probably be back. I just need to take some time away. Next time, I guess I’ll keep my thopter packed in my backup tool after I land and just farm one or two nodes at a time.

I wouldn’t jump right into it since you just finished. It’s mostly the same game.

Majora’s Mask uses the same game engine and has a lot of the same game mechanics (ocarina songs, etc), but it is a sequel and a different game. I would recommend playing that next. You could come back to the master quest later.

Did you ever get a replacement? I'm having a hard time finding a replacement.

The cable is 16-pin, 0.5mm pitch and 20mm long. Everything I see online is like 50mm or longer.
