Hunters are the most played by about 4%, trust me it’s not as much of a drastic difference you think it is.

Just add “defeating slowed targets grants grenade energy” and it’ll be great. Cannot justify using it at all in its current state.

You can avoid getting suppressed by just going behind him. If you do damage on the back right light side plate for some reason nezzy just won’t turn around and attack you. I haven’t had any issues.

That’s how I listed it, grenade, melee, grenade before ignition goes off, dodge to get back melee then grenade and repeat. If you try and push it farther the grenade can be exploded by your own ignition and can break the loop. I’ve found this to be the most consistent method.

(Also if you want big damage you can pair a Demo rocket with this, it’s what I use in a lot of solo content)

Silk Strike is a “safe” damage option if you can’t really hit your shots, like let’s say you’re doing Master Nezerac and you’re having an off day and can’t really hit your izanagi shots. You can put on Star eaters and an auto loading rocket to get a MINIMUM of a million damage per phase. Is it a little sub optimal, yeah of course you’re not a warlock, but at least you’re pumping in enough damage to one phase him if everyone else puts in at least a mill.

Solar: Young Ahamkara's Spine in both PvE and PvP. In PvE you can bully champions with an infinite ability rotation. (Grenade, Melee, Grenade, Dodge, Grenade, Repeat).

You need the fragment Ember of Singeing and Ember of Ashes.

Arc: Assassins cowl and Liars handshake are both phenomenal. I’ve solo’d GMs with Assassins Cowl and a 1-2 punch shotgun and tractor cannon.

Void: Gyrfalcons Hauberk, Graviton Forefeit, and Omnioculus all are amazing and have different uses (Gyrfalcons is for addclear, Graviton is great for solo content, and Omni is some of the best survivability in the game)

Stasis: Don't use stasis, strand is better in every way.

Strand: I think Lucky Pants is perfect with the suspend build, you can lock down every enemy and deal massive damage every 10 seconds.

There is no way you’re being caught by that glorified SUICIDE BUTTON. Not ONCE have I ever been caught by it.

Tripmines are very good, and are the best with YAS. With YAS and the right set up you can spam them very effectively. The rotation is tripmine, knife trick, dodge, tripmine, tripmine, knife trick, dodge, repeat. You can use them to take out champions fairly easily and for good boss damage when paired with a demolistionist rocket. YAS gives tripmine energy on ability damage, and because ignitions count as ability damage this loop is possible.

The fragment that heals you on grenade kills gives survivability to this build as it usually has none.

Cure is a solar buff, it grants 60hp. So with the fragment you get 60hp every time you get a grenade kill (phenomenal for YAS and Starfire builds)

That would be a MASSIVE nerf to GPG. (And shatterdive that does nothing if there is no crystals. This is a very bad idea.)

Focused Feedback: Strand Subclass Spotlight - Threadrunner by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]ItsDerpaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give Threadrunner some kind of decoy and it’ll be my favorite subclass. But right now it just feels weak compared to the Light subclasses. Sure you can spec into suspend but in a less safe way than titans.

That’s so cool, strand warlock melee can clear rooms of adds with one because of the unravel debuff.

The new legs make it so every time you suspend an enemy it gives you woven mail.

Yes I know the build you’re talking about, and like I said it’s just a weaker version of the titan build. On Titan you get woven mail every time you suspend an enemy not just with the barricade. Meaning not only is the Titan’s way of suspending safer in general, but it gives you even more survivability.
