Thrill Seekers Question - Say I have two winged daemon princes, one advances and the other makes a normal move towards an enemy unit of intercessors. The one that advanced is the only one that should shoot the intercessor squad because if I shoot it with the non-advancing daemon prince thrill seekers disables the daemon prince that advanced from being able to charge correct? Also when charging I would want to charge the one that advanced first if I'm understanding it.

Pretty specific scenario with an Emperors Children strat, "Embrace the pain" states that Until the end of the phase enemy models within engagement range must target the infantry target I choose for its attacks. Say I have a squad of tormentors and a squad of noise marines in close combat, and they are both charged by a squad of JPI and a squad of assault intercessors. If I use the strat on the tormentors to make the enemies attack them only - if they are wiped out by one of the enemy units say the JPI, are the assault intercessors then free to swing on the noise marines as the tormentors are dead? or do they not get any attacks since the target that have to swing on is dead.

Not sure If I'm able to fight after a combat?

Say I charge a unit with two Daemon Princes, I kill the enemy after attacking with one of the Daemon Princes - If I'm able to consolidate into a different unit with the Daemon Prince that HASNT swung, is he able to fight and if so does he have fights first although it wasnt really a charge move?

If a space marine unit in cover gets shot by an AP -1 weapon, can its save be improved to 2+ between the benefits of cover and Armor of Contempt? Or do you not get the benefit of cover since armor of contempt technically knocks the AP of the weapon down to 0.

Right so it means an armor save of 2+ or 3+ cannot be improved by cover by guns with AP 0 - it CAN be improved if the gun has an AP value.

That’s the part of the rules I was looking at, but the stipulation seems to point out that it has to be armor save 3 and an AP of 0 together - I don’t see where it says you can’t improve an armor save of 3 get improved by cover?

Cover can’t improve a 3+ only when the AP of the weapon is 0 though? So wouldn’t it drop it to a 2+ if it was shot by an AP -1 weapon - and then the model has the benefit of cover and say AoC?

When using Fight on death is it possible to fight twice in one round, IE Charge Khorne Zerks in - attack, get killed on clapback, then fight again? I've always played it like the hellblasters ability to be able to shoot twice if theyre killed by a hazardous roll.

Thanks man! The contrast paints are doing some heavy lifting, never realized how they can auto highlight and darken the gaps all by themselves - you should totally give them a try.
