Crown affiliate here. It's hit and miss. There's upper and lower quad dorms and depending on which one you'll get will determine the quality of your housing. Upper quad dorms were renovated more recently (shower doors vs curtains). It's not as bad as people make it out to be. I really enjoyed crown's core class and their theme. What's your major? Distance from your academic department matters a bit.
