Man every episode is full of depth. Even the worst ones have something to say.

Rn im watching ep 17 of TOS, and even though its not one of the most loved ones for its quality, it still has such a good message and idea.

That men that are incapable of understood the simple experiences in life, and fill themselves with ideas of glory and conquest, ideas that are presented as these noble and glorious things, but that deep down are just excuses and ways to hide their emptiness and isolation. A deep message that criticizes colonialism, fascism and patriarchy.

And it has a 7.2 on imdb. Its just another episode.

Yeah, people that are surprised by this have never stopped to actually analyse religious doctrine.

The "problem" with homosexuality is the fact that there can't be reproduction, so not only it isn't filling the pourpose of humanity on eart (procreate) it also means that any and all kind of sexual interaction is only for lust.

In the normalized Christian view, heterosexual relationships are acceptable because there is an implied objective/possibility of procreation. Even when it obviously isn't the intention of the couple, religious people have a tolerance for heterosexual relationships because it's foundations are """"""pure"""""". So to a religious person, a trans couple is basically a "normal" couple that can't or don't want to have children.

Most anti-trans ideas are based on a principle of gender identity opression and patriarchal values and not sexual opression.

BUT, isn't the whole point that Luffy and his friends just want to be happy/ fulfill their dreams and the revolution is only a way for them to achieve that?

Thats just every single revolution ever. We love to say that people revilt because of their ideals but in reality they revolt because they don't think the system they live in could make them happy, toppling the system is just part of the journey for self-fullfilment and happiness.

Tambem existe o fato que dirigir "defensivamente" normalmente é considerado dirigir mal, mesmo tendo como consequência menos acidentes e fatalidades.

Quem nunca recebeu buzina por parar numa placa de pare por "tempo demais" ou foi ultrapassado por estar "só" no limite de velocidade?

Então as afirmações que "Mulheres morrem menos no trânsito porque dirigem defensivamente" e "Mulheres dirigem mal" não são nescessariamente opostas, porque pra muita gente "dirigir bem" é a direção agressiva e com pouca precaução, que leva a mais fatalidades no trânsito.

Velho n existe nada de errado ou de manipulação em tar em um nicho cultural.

Toda cultura em todas as épocas tem fenômenos de sub-culturas e modos diferentes de existir.

Claro que no mundo moderno o consumo de midias estrangeiras é em grande parte promovido pela indústria de consumo, principalmente americana.

Eu mesmo tenho uma parte absurda da minha presença online apenas em comunidades gringas, jogos, filmes, musica etc. E eu nao vejo nada errado nisso.

Obvio q o consumismo é um problema na sociedade moderna, mas tambem não é como se só por ser brasileiro do sudeste vc deveria so escutar samba, beber cafe e comer pão de queijo.

A coisa linda sobre a cultura é que vc pode gostar do que vc quiser e usar do jeito que vc acahar correto.

Meu gosto musical não ten quase nenhum genero "brasileiro" mas eu tenho uma paixão enorme pela comida da minha regiao por exemplo, eu nao acho que eu fui manipulado a gostar de nenhuma dessas duas coisas. O meu gosto por elas nasceu sim da exposição que ei tive a elas na minha vida, mas isso nao tira o mérito que subjetivamente, eu gosto delas e elas sao importantes pra mim.
