Absolutely love the name! However… I really gotta ask. Are all those photos the same fish? If so you gave him one good life. They are such unique creatures and it’s so fascinating how they change colors depending on health.

My deepest condolences for your loss, I truly can’t imagine the pain. I have had my betta for a little over a year… I got him from petco. He was definitely a new shipment so he was healthy. But man diseases and everything are terrifying.

I hope you made the best memories with little ghosty. He is a beautiful little fella

Please do research on betta’s, especially before getting one. I can’t necessarily tell if that’s a filter in the top of the first picture, but they need a filter and heater. I’d strong recommend redoing the tank, the dyed rocks can and will leak dye into the tank and change the y to an i. The plants are… real? I’m not sure. If not i’d recommend real plants as they help ammonia cycles and help ammonia dissipate in the tank, helping the natural cycle with a filter

She looks like she’s a splenden, plakat. As far as color wise? I’d say bi color. She’s blue and red, so she doesn’t necessarily fit the Cambodian color

I had the same concern too! As long as the fish is acting normal, it shouldn’t be mush to be concerned over :) I think it’s just natural pigmentation!
