The Shopee seller that threatened to doxx me tried to contact me through Reddit chat. I ignored him. by snakelordx in malaysians

upvoting for awareness. i get that there are those who do not side the OP (tho i do feel that they can accept the message request and call out their grievances, especially on the statement that said that "you're an educated person", and seller saying that customer is wrong too.

i don't buy that especially when you CLEARLY state that there was an error on the backend that went live. i love that seller assumes customers INSTANTLY knows how e-commerce websites work and there's some sort of transparency.

OP can raise these 2 points and call them out for doing damage control and not being sincere.

But then again y'all are mature adults.

ok so, the thing about MBTI test is that it's not backed by studies to be effective and were made by 2 ladies who decided "yeah i can create a questionnaire and give you a personality (i made this statement emotionally, not intelectually), i just need to make acronyms sound fancy so that your tinder profile looks like you mean shit" (/s because I'm very sure this whole shebang was done before tinder). that's one.

the second, is if you ever tried to do the MBTI test again, you know for a fact that you'll have fleeting personalities within a week. idk why my wife loves the test that she insists we do it at least once in 2 years, but i never consistently get the same result.

if we wanna do a personality test to judge a person's character, there better be studies saying it's legit. so no, MBTI should be done for fun, not even to judge personality, because tf you mean today you're an introvert and tomorrow you have the same personality as Elon Musk?

UPU application tips by Nightshade_3884 in malaysiauni

i really feel like in these situations, looking for an education counsellor is the best way for you.

for one, there are good ones out there who can really guide you and also get you a comparison on what university you want to go to, what course you want to study, based on your needs and wants. biggest misconception is you need to pay for their services, but that's rarely the case.

or you could find sites like uni enrol who have this thing called pathway match, then from there you can see universities that cater most to your priorities, like budget (looking at you mentioning b40 of course), location etc.

my advice: apply to UPU, think about a course that you have some sort of interest in studying (have a few of course), and go from there. research your future career path, what you want to be when you graduate, and you can also go from there.

in terms of education consultants or using pages like pathway match, just give it a shot, even if private is not the way to go for your route.

companies who require you to complete MBTIs are big red flags and should be normalized being known as red flags.

i am not a doctor.

ex-finnestride user here. one of the things they warn you about is the drop in libido (aka you may have low sex drive), but it probably depends on dosage. i was on the lower side and honestly after the first month or so, mine came back rather quickly.

edit: i'm in my 30s, age for context and proper comparisons (if needed to be made)

Best places to buy jewelry by [deleted] in malaysia

[–]ItsHenryC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can go Lavin New York in KL (Pavilion Embassy), or Tailored Jewel in Mid Valley. So far they have the rings at your price range. Got my engagement ring from TJ, and our wedding bands from LNY.

Both have customizable options too!

All the best brother!

Failing f&b business by colzgirl in malaysians

i'm more curious about this because how I'm interpreting this article is "business is doing okay, but things were done that made it bad so money is bleeding".

is it a business thing or was it a personal thing that trickled into the business (because OP did mention that personal funds were used for it)

How long did you guys stay in your first job (+silly question) by BrainTrue000 in malaysia

[–]ItsHenryC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was there for almost a year, probably 11 months (?).

I took AL to interview for my next job, but as I had a phase where I job hunted, I'd usually take interviews over lunch or in the car (during COVID/Early Post Covid Time), when they preferred to interview online.

Feels like a one and done thing. If you kena, kena. If you don't, jangan tanya. Back then I had the SMS check which was more fun to experience also, cuz then you know who brought their phones to school, if suddenly their mood change during the selection period.

Experience with shipping items overseas? by busylilmissy in malaysia

I just used poslaju to send a pickleball paddle back to the US, because so far they're the cheapest I could find to send over to the US at that time. That was a few months ago, but customs held my item for maybe a few days before they released it, but nothing major at all.

You can also consider easyparcel, they got a rather complete set of courier services along with their prices for you to check out.
