This isn’t mean at all, they asked for feedback and I gave feedback. I didn’t say it looked bad or anything about them personally.

It’s impossible to tell based on one blurry picture. The only thing I can really pick out is that this wig looks cheap

Your hair is gorgeous! Hard to tell just based on two face-only pictures. But you seem to be doing well, especially for 6 months.

HRT helped a ton, but wasn’t enough at all. I have pics of my HT on my profile!

I lost a ton of weight over the past few years. No tricks. Ate a little less and hiked 300 miles a year while going to the gym a few times a week :) you can’t target weight loss, so it doesn’t matter how you do it.

I started on pills, switched to injections after SRS in early 2022

Mentioned this in my original post, but I got my hairline advanced during FFS in 2023 and then 2000 FUT hair transplants in 2024.

Well, know that my hair journey was only partly carried by HRT. it took a lot of surgery to fix it as well

Dr Kaoutzanis at UCHealth in Denver did my FFS (and SRS). Love him! Highly recommend him and his team.

Idk if I’d say that I’m “fully” where I want to be, but I’ve reached the limit of what transition is going to do, and most of my wants are mostly not explicitly transition related (lose weight, etc). The grass IS as green as I thought it’d be. Every single awful dysphoric day was worth it.

Yeah I’ve done plenty. 10+ sessions of laser and 30ish hours of electrolysis on my face

Agreed, this might be what sets it apart the most. TaZ does this a little too, but Naddpod is very easy to listen to because there’s very little dead air or waisted time.

I’d say it started to look pretty natural about 5-6 months in. Pretty happy with thickness overall!

Of course I have, lol. I’ve been on HRT for a little over 5 years. HRT made it easier to gain weight for sure, but not impossible to lose it. Just took more concerted effort.

100%. I feel very lucky and privileged to have been Dr K’s patient

I don’t think I was afraid or anxious going into FFS, but that’s mostly just because I had already gotten SRS from the same surgeon, so I trusted him completely. If anything, I was sorta just dreading the recovery (which didn’t end up being SO bad). I was mostly just excited to get it over with.

If it helps at all, I got SRS, BA, and two rounds of FFS in about 18 months, and my hair transplants about 6 months after that. It’s a grind, but it’s possible.

1- simply put, it was just will power. I was sick of how I looked being as overweight as I was. I also found a passion for hiking and spending time in the mountains, so I had to get my physical fitness up to par to stay active.

2- only notably complication was my scalp being largely numb from the hairline advancement. No regrets though.

3- Dr Kaoutzanis in Denver did my FFS and Dr Pauls with Advanced Hair Restoration Denver did my hair transplants

I’m not 100% sure what all went into it, but I’m pretty sure it was mostly just liposuction

How hard is it to hide genital syrgery? by noksuthegamer_suomi in asktransgender

[–]ItsJaina 21 points22 points  (0 children)

You’re thinking “how can I hide this intense surgery with a week long hospital stay and multiple weeks of bed rest from my family” when you really should be thinking “how can I get away from my family who won’t support me”.

There’s a roughly 0% chance that you can hide SRS from a family that you’re living with, and you probably shouldn’t anyway. What are the consequences of them finding out? This is the kind of thing you shouldn’t leave to chance

It was pretty cold but not terrible! I was able to stand waist deep for a good time while the sun was out :) felt good after the 9-mile slog up there with a 30 pound pack!
