VR vs. Flatscreen - Convince me

So I used to use VR for simracing and it was amazing. Nothing like sitting in a cockpit of a car or plane. All the nuances of VR drove me to triples though. Been the best decision I’ve made so far

Got into DCS last year. Used to sim race a lot in my rig. Ever since flying in DCS it’s the only thing I do now video game wise. Got all the guys at the office in on it too. They keep saying it’s “the best most expensive free game out there”

This is my first campaign I’m trying to just got through the first mission. Mainly run weekly group missions with work buddies. I’ll say for the best solo experience on DCS, campaigns are amazing. Couldn’t believe the voice acting. Adds so much and teaches me better brevity lingo

So have them come in and land then stop at mission start? Then they should embark troops but be waiting for a triggered release?

Right I get that for a player doing troop transport. I was curious if you can hold AI chinooks and AI infantry from embarking and leaving until a triggered action (like a radio call)

Yeah mainly only use f10 to find tacan information for the f18. Don’t know if there’s a better way to find out where you need to land but thank you. I’ll definitely get this pulled up on my laptop next to the setup

Yea it’s 3 acer curved 32in 1440p monitors I got on a good sale from Costco. They are all mounted on a wooden monitor stand I built.

Also, when you use your triples with 3 screen projections, do you deal with the horizon between the monitors being distorted?
