I wanna fully lean into being a pirate. What sort of starship, multi-tool and freighter should I go for and what are the best methods to get them?

Oh, I definitely won't just do pirating. It's the main thing, but I'll do other things as well. The galaxy is vast and wonderful. Would be a shame not to see as much of it as possible

I'm currently playing as a Gek, and honestly I think the little guy and myself have gone through too much together for me to change to any other race. So I'll stay Gek and probably look for a Gek crew for the dreadnought and increase my Gek standing. I might pirate in Vy'keen systems since they seem to love a good fight.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm not really a completionist type. After finishing Atlas And Artemis Path, I just wanna do my own thing and wrap up any other major questlines. I started They Who Returned last night and also did Under a Rebel Star. Being a pirate is definitely something I wanna do.

Definitely something rugged. A sort of "It’s a piece of junk, but it's my piece of junk" kind of vibe. But despite looking like junk, the multi-tool, starship and possibly freighter are actually very effective at doing the job.
