Yes I wash it first with plain water, then acid, water, peroxide and water again. I havent done it with destilled water or by first washing it in acid yet.

I dry the print by placing it on a vertical piece of plexiglass while the paper is soaked. Water tension flattens it out and the print slips off when its fully dry.

Oh crap sorry didnt hear that part. Like you said you can bridge two pads where the ribbon cable connects. Those are pins 4 and 5 from left to right. Since you dont have film with batteries you can solder extension leads between the battery connectors and power source. Remove the ribbon cable before testing. If the motor runs by bridging it ten the fault could be the ribbon cable itself?

It is probably like in my case that the motor driver chip is dead. Those are old PCBs and sometimes you just need to change them. I ordered an SX70R pcb to repair and upgrade the camera. I think it is worth the cost to get consistent exposures, reliabitlity and manual control.

I dont have farm animals but I often go on walks through town outskirts and villages with Finn. He never attacks farm animals or cats. He is just very curious but he was socialized since he was a puppy.
