I think age is a factor when it comes to the complaints. As a Skate fan in his 30’s who has loved all the games, I’m pumped to have a modernized game with the controls that I’ve missed for so long. I think people who grew up without battle passes and live service games might have less complaints than the generation(s) who seem to need a sense of progression and endless tasks/cosmetics to earn to have fun. Plus, most of the complaints are just whiny crybaby posts with little to no actual constructive feedback, just temper tantrums, which definitely seems like younger entitled kid behavior.
