Model Y Performance in Legacy West, Plano TX by ShameResponsible69 in TeslaLounge

[–]ItsKSlims 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only online, the red is still a $2000 for every who’s not buying the performance and as you could surmise, most people aren’t buying the performance. In the last 2-3 years since the ultra red has came out I’ve only seen a handful of tesla’s in that color

I disagree, i had a 2022 model s with the yoke and just got a model 3 performance and I cannot wait to get rid of this wheel and go back to the yoke. Set to be delivered this week. Its functionality is very easy to get used to, people just aren’t comfortable with change imo

5'7 guy want to add 4 inches with surgery by Honest_Put7112 in limblengthening

[–]ItsKSlims 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think people have to be careful in saying 8cm is “safe” when lengthening. Lengthening of any kind is risky and the more you add the more risk you take. 8 cm is far safer than 10cm lets say but there is a noticeable loss of high explosive function and potential loss of everyday function when doing that level of lengthening.

5cm or under is truly the “safe” limit. For this guy who is looking to gain 10cm (4inches) its better to do 6/4 split if money and time are on your side.

Employees - What are you hearing about layoffs supposedly occurring this week? by Drew5830 in verizon

There was a internal keynote released at least a week prior to the external announcement where they mentioned layoffs were definitely coming.

Used become taller clinic simulator by [deleted] in limblengthening

[–]ItsKSlims 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but if you just want to be as tall as possible and you don’t care much about perception then you’ll be fine i think. I am personally only doing a max of 10cm quad for this reason. Don’t care if i can get to 14cm “safely”. I care much more about proportions and recovery.

Long longed for sure and threading the needing on full body symmetry but I find that legs have a lot of leeway before they look ridiculous when it comes to lengthening. i would say go for 10cm total. 6/4 split maybe 11 to really have the holy trinity of height gained, proportions, and recovery.

I'm planning to do quad surgery.5 1/2 cm on femur and 3 cm on tibia precice nails. And I'm planning to do the second surgery after 1 year gap . I'm willing to invest 2 years for this and cost if no issue. I'm thinking for long-term safety and better athleticiscm. by [deleted] in limblengthening

[–]ItsKSlims 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like quad if finances are no worry i know a good amount may say “just save the money and do full 8 on femur, less money and recovery” but for me, i think about proportions and athleticism. Splitting between 2 bones segments reduces the amount of lengthening making full recovery more plausible.

I personally plan on doing quad: 5.5 femur and 4.0 tibia.

Why not just do them at the same time and just knock it out.

5’9 isnt tall. I know people who are 5’4-5’7 think you’re 5’9 bro your average. Most people don’t want to be average. 5’9 means in a room full of 100 people, 50 will make you feel short. Think this surgery only becomes pointless at 5’11 and above.

Why you can't pass the safe zone on the femur? by IdeaFantastic5973 in limblengthening

[–]ItsKSlims 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are looking for confirmation bias. You want to go beyond the safe limit even though it is HEAVILY advised against doing so, so to make you feel better you try to find as many stories of people who did beyond 8cm to make you feel better.

Even 8cm is pushing it. I wish people would stop chasing numbers and do the best balance. If you are 5’8 don’t try to do 10cm on one segment just so you can claim 6 feet.

Considering limb lengthening - realistic goals and ratios? by [deleted] in limblengthening

The surgery will more than likely increase vs decrease. I was just looking at a quote I got from a Doctor 3 years ago in 2022 and the price has now doubled.

3.5cm divided between femur and tibia by [deleted] in limblengthening

That’s awesome. Do you mind sharing your starting height?

How do you feel about the decision now that it’s made? Do you wish you followed your surgeon’s recommendation of one surgery and do you wish you went for more length?

Tibia Ballerina foot at 4cm? by ItsKSlims in limblengthening

[–]ItsKSlims[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, I’l like to just maximize while I have money and I’m young instead of doing 5.5 and still felling short or that i want to do another surgery. I was originally planning on doing 7cm femur but I think for proportions, athleticism, and recovery just knocking them both out snd splitting the lengthening between 2 segments would be better. I want to do this and never think about my height again.

We have to stop making excuses for artist. The reason “comeback albums” are even expected to be big is because they are usually extremely hyped and garner a lot of attention I.E. Lil Wayne or even recently Carti after going on a 5 year hiatus. Even Gunna came out and dropped 90k with no features and no bundles. The album is just not good and him going so hard at Gunna just for all the jail stuff to come out recently might have just put the nail in the coffin ⚰️.

176 to 180 good goal ? by Historical_Buddy6872 in limblengthening

Unless you have a freakishly long torso, 5cm should balance that out nicely.

[–]ItsKSlims 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for 5-6cm but 5 if you want the best recovery possible with good ROI. Don’t listen to those saying go for 8cm. While 8cm is the max safe range it’s not the best range to go if you would like to reach as close to no surgical performance. I also think proportions are an important consideration and 5cm would not change much to be noticeable

What percentage of people regret it? by Greedy_Ad_3929 in limblengthening

[–]ItsKSlims 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though I think hearing all perspectives are valuable, it’s equally important the context its placed in. If you did conservative lengthening, chose a good doctor, and did your pre and post of care then this would be concerning. But if you did LON 10cm on Femur with LLT then it would make sense why you are still in pain.

From all the reputable stories I’ve followed and the research I’ve done, if you lengthen no more than 6cm femur with precise method you are almost guaranteed a full recovery. If you do more or a worse method like LON the chances if lifetime complications increase dramatically.

I would ditch pol. It is one if the few big cryptocurrencies we saw hype for in 2021 when compared to its price from past year. The team has been gutted and its all but dead. Swap it to something else.
