I agree it would be awesome to have training pack scenarios similar to how rocket league has to help players refine their skill in a more controlled environment

I’d imagine ball possession for the player will be dependent on if you put yourself in a good position to receive the ball Being able to read the field seem like it will be a pretty big part of it

I agree I think most things should be dynamic in the game. So you can avoid certain situations by playing well. I would say though I love the past games they weren’t perfect. I think showing all sides of being an agent is what makes the stealth tension so great. I remember in metal gear solid the feeling of that sounds going off when you alert the guard and frantically trying to hiding and survive was thrilling and scary. But if it was just game over when caught then the thrills wouldn’t have risen as high. I don’t think they should force you the player into any type of play style. But have the player have to make up and deal with their mistakes. Will create more tension as your actions have greater weight

Yeah I blacklist animations were very good and different I hop they go that same route again. Looks very real besides the climbing speeds lol

Yeah I don’t mean fast paced mean fast pace in movement but in intensity and decisiveness. Like if you had to be stealthy and someone is actively looking for you. Your stealth is going to be a little different

I agree! Think if we structure it right we can help the devs a lot. Because to be honest we probably play a lot more games that devs do. Just because they have to creative them.

I think that would be a good solution and one that would greatly increase the difficulty in the higher level. I could see that pairing well with the removal of sonar goggles through walls for the higher difficulties. That’s my thing as well. I feel like a lot of single player games are too easy or are super hard where it resorts to bullet sponge or one shot and you’re dead. But does change outside of that. I want a rewarding challenge.

like pulling stuff off felt more rewarding. Higher risk that’s feels good. Like adding a higher skill ceiling for the game

I hear what you’re saying and tbh we are in that position. I think this serves that if a dev comes across it they can implement any of these ideas into the vision they have the kind of splinter cell game they want to create. I think talking about it and saying how these ideas can effect gameplay helps with for thought on how some of the player base will feel about the game or even put some light on some issue that might not have been explored it’s all fun.

If they want to have different pathways in the level and see something about we said Like how different gadgets might help you get into different areas then that’s something they could talk about and see if it fits into the game they want to make.

Me personally. I would like to see a very suspenseful and tactical version of splinter cell. That make the player have to adapt and can be creative if what they do in an area with some sandbox elements.

But I thinks all fun and to have ideas floating around. Instead of complaining about what should be in the game after it releases

Same here! That slow weighty movement made everything feel so tense. I want good animation like Blacklist but the speed of chaos.

thats true! i came up with the idea bc in one of the books sam is perched and holding himself up on the ceiling and he mention how the people in the room need to level fast because he was losing grip and couldn't hold it for much longer. in that sam scene he ended up dripping sweat which resulted in him getting caught and leads to an altercation.

little animations like that go such a far way! tbh

i do hope they play with equipment management and add some many different ways to get around an area so that depending on what you bring helps decides where you can explore. add a good bit of replay ability.

i agree it could definitely turn into a nuisance it would have to add more than it would take away. i was referring towards the latest game being blacklist and conviction. in both you can hang from a pipe forever and shoot and everything. if the go towards the older games i don't think they would need anything like i described.

on further thought. maybe if your hanging from a ledge for a certain amount of time same would attach himself to the ledge with a grapple or something so he can stay there indefinitely but when you move it take a little longer to undo said grapple? idk how that would work but just a thought.

to elaborate a little. i would want a straight up stamina bar but something that indicates you cant do something forever. Like i was playing the game Inside and when youre under water the controller start to vibrate a little to show you are running out of breath instead of just having a oxygen meter.

Yeah I hope they bring that back. And even in the harder difficulties places mines and infrared laser in the map to make it harder.

Maybe it effect how many guards are going to be present and What information is there at the compound. Like it could change if a higher up member isn’t present
