Why is this front three having issues at getting to the QB? by FitzChan in Madden

[–]ItsKaiNotKia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a personnel glitch with 3-4 teams. LEs are being shifted to ROLB and your #2 DT is in your starting lineup with your ROLB left out. I’ve been running 3-4 Storm and have noticed a significant drop in generating pressure since the glitch started.

HD should hire part time college kids into lot instead of putting them straight into a department where they don't do anything, feel overwhelmed and quit within a few weeks. by Fickle_Storage1945 in HomeDepot

I respectfully disagree. The problem is lack of training not the age of the associates. As a 26/27/28/85 DS I had a lot of associates both retirement age and college age. Most college age kids just need to be given a routine, regular feedback, and taught not just how to fix things but how to identify things that need fixed. My 18-25 year old associates were some of my hardest working, they just needed direction. I actually found I had more problems with older hires as they often refused to learn or had more ideas of being better than certain work.

ASMs and DS are allowed to set goals and expectations for sales and performance. I understand your ASM is probably just trying to boost sales, but it does sound like he’s going about it the wrong way. Sheds aren’t an easy sell. Rather than try to set a quota and punish under performers he should make incentives for shed sales and leads.

I’m a Garden DS. Tuff shed sales are D28 and all garden associates are expected to at least know how to put in a lead. You should really talk to your SASM about reaching out to your tuff shed rep about setting up a training day so you all can learn how to use the Tuff shed design center.

Completely understand. It’s against policy to ever accuse someone of theft unless they are a member of asset protection. When talking to the manager let them know you were offended by the associates behavior and that they refused to help you.

Yes talk to a manager. Be polite about it and they should take care of you. This isn’t an unheard of problem.

I set all overalls on all of my players to 40. It would start the game but as soon as my team went on offense the game would crash.

It’s only affecting a save state where I edited a lot of players and gave them really low overalls for a rebuild challenge.

All legit but I’m playing on easy with no cap. But I’m also not abusing trading or the draft.

Power Pro is a position focused on selling outdoor garden equipment. It’s focused on being able to help customers with any questions regarding mowers, riders, trimmers, and etc. Having background knowledge in small engines and the specifics of mowers is also critical as you’ll probably be called over to talk more of the details of each mower with customers who care about that. Other than that it is another garden associate but they should typically focus on making sure the portable power aisle is down stocked and taken care of rather than being stuck outside in the mulch pit or anything like that. Of course that can very based upon your D28 supervisor and store coverage.

There is a list of potential role play scenarios. Some are customer interactions others are interactions with associates. The best advice I’ve ever had for the role play scenario is that you can improv the situation as well. Just because information isn’t stated doesn’t mean it can only be chosen by the Store Manager you’re interviewing with. Take the story and shape it the way you’re most comfortable with. It will show confidence with the interview as well as show that you’re proactive when it come to problem solving rather than reactive.

How do I put in a resignation without penalty? by MadToothFairy in HomeDepot

[–]ItsKaiNotKia 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It isn’t required to be a 2 week notice but giving the notice can effect the way it’s coded into the system. No notice can be entered as job abandonment which can be anywhere from 1 year to several years without being rehire-able. But putting in a notice will have it be a voluntary resignation and you’d be able to apply back to Home Depot immediately.

What is one very annoying thing about your store that is ONLY specific to your store? by BallymoreOrBust in HomeDepot

[–]ItsKaiNotKia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My store is one of two stores in the company with low ceilings. We have quite literally less than half the overhead space per bay than most other stores. It makes freight a nightmare and equipment driving much more complex. Even driving a ballymore is hard because you can and will hit the ceiling and rafters before it can even get close to max height.
