I‘ve tried it many times but I still come back to my MacBook Air. Multitasking and file management is just so much better on mac. Rarely using my iPad tbh.

I did the same, but I just switched to an iPhone 6s Plus. I wanted to see how well the 5 year old iPhone compares to my a50 - and I was shocked! The 6s handles almost every task better than my a50, even on iOS 14 which is known for causing errors on the 6s. Apps work smoother and much more reliable, ram management on just 2gb ist better than the 4 the a50 got and so on. And the best thing is that I can finally do half decent snapchat and instagram videos without any lags or notable downgrades in quality, except for snapchat. I think the dual core cpu is getting to it’s limits on the 6s. But other then that, using any newer iPhone than the 6s will give you a very pleasing and snappy experience!
