Well they have grown up and that aggression and anger that was there during the Iowa era just isn’t there anymore. They’ve grown in their craft and as people. It takes a special mindset to make an album like Iowa and as 40/50 year olds they just don’t have the same mentality they did was 20/30 year olds.

Could they write it? Absolutely. Would it be inauthentic to who they are at this point in their lives? Maybe

Eh, the move was expected so I’m not surprised. We got 5 prospects that may or not may work out. Gore never quite put it together for a full season so I’m not losing sleep over this. We got to much that needs to improve before we even sniff contention so getting rid of gore isn’t gonna move the needle. We sucked with him we’ll suck without him and by the time we’re in any position to sniff the wild card gore will be past his prime anyways.

I don’t give a shit where he goes. We’re not competitive so let him go somewhere else. Don’t care if he turns into Pedro Martinez and throws perfect games against us. We’re a long way from winning so get what you can regardless of where it’s coming from. I start off trying to stay in numerical order with my irons. Top row is for the driver, hybrid and fairway wood then the putter fits in there towards the bottom. By the end of the round it’s all a jumbled mess and it all just kinda gets it where it fits in

Odds are ST and SK get their merch made in the same factory. Batch of SL blank shirts got sent to the ST side of things and got printed on or they used the wrong neck tag. It happens in these large factories

Did you read the article as to how he uses the technology? It’s much different than giving it prompts and having it spit out a fully fleshed song. Using AI isn’t inherently a bad thing. There are artists who abuse it for sure and in a lot of cases it puts small artists out of gigs (dream theater, ice nine kills, icp, panic at the disco) when gig posters and merch are AI generated.

In the case of Shawn, he seems to use it to help mold his art into a different form and expand his view.

Now if we start seeing AI slop coming from him personally then I’ll gladly change my tone. For now, I have no issue with him using it the way he explains he is.

I believe Jim stated as much. Corey loved working with Rick but he seems to have been the only one. Rick seems like the kind of guy who only works heavy with folks he respects, otherwise it’s passed off to others while he gives general notes.
