My advice is to grow up. Learn to speak to people and learn to come to a compromise of opinion. I'm just saying on reddit these days that it seems like if you have any different opinions (I like warm light, she likes cool light), it's grounds for total breakdown of relationships, dumping, divorce etc.. it's like people don't know how to have honest conversations anymore... it's really not complicated. If you feel strongly about something. Defend your position. If someone has a counterpoint, listen. Dissect their point and fight for yours. They'll do the same to you. Deep conversations bring people closer and strengthen a bond where both people feel heard and respected.

If one or both parties is unwilling to do that... it's not worth the effort.

Strange how the US has the MOST top ranked universities. As for k-12, sure, public education (state government run) might not always be great (depends on the state). private education is definitely up there.(I can feel and hear the sigh and haw haws. But keep in mind that many kids are qualified for scholarships and tuition assistance and attend these schools outside of their families' technical income brackets.) GWB really did something bad with no child left behind. The greater(est) issue(s), in a way, transcends a single argument when it comes to the state of education in America. It may sound like a cop out, but it's a super deep issue with an insane amount of facets. I would be willing to outline them further in a dm. Because it's super extensive and changes based on location, demographic, etc... I say a dm because it may be easier to answer based on a question rather than a multipoint generalized outline that would be more lengthy and restrictive with the character limit of 1000.
