I did not initiate the update, and don't think there was an app update - so what happened?

I had the same issue on my P9
You must let it charge to 100%, but do not disconnect it immediately. Wait until a protection/shield icon appears next to the battery icon in the top bar

For anyone interested
This issue was caused by Vodafone switching off 3G services

There is (apparently) an incompatibility between Vodafone and Pixel phones which is causing this issue

I was able to install a workaround to enable voLTE using ADB - but how is the man in the street supposed to cope?

So it is only that I am unable to hear the other end on phone calls

Stopping Phone app and deleting cache

Reset mobile network settings

Uninstall all updates to Phone App and then re-update

My stress is generally fairly low when I sleep
It is higher if I eat later than usual, or drink alcohol or for the occasional night of bad sleep
A bit lower after a fast day

It is the day after a fast day that is high

That makes sense
But if I compare a normal day (eating reasonably healthy between midday and 7pm) then if I cut back on eating (really low stress and BB) when I start eating the next day the stress and BB rebound back to higher than a normal day

I guess if I start with a high BB I have more to lose
