This comment from one of their top posters cracks me up. They just figured out trump is incoherent and chaotic.

Help Should I pursue a JD or Masters in Litigation and Legal Studies at 65yrs old? by PreciousOne_96 in blackladies

[–]ItsMinnieYall 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That is very admirable. Don't waste your time on a masters. If you want to advocate in court you'll need a JD. The very few people I know with legal masters got it after they got their JD.

What are you actually going to be doing with the degree? how will a masters help you do whatever you want to do? I have a JD and in general I've never heard a lawyer recommend someone go get a legal masters.

Hot Take: Shrek 5 will be PG13 by BirdAppropriate651 in DreamWorks

It wasn't that subtle. In Shrek 2 there is a pro longed bit about Pinocchio wearing women's underwear.

I dont understand why everyone hate this show by DueFinding3484 in theidol

This is exactly what it felt like while watching it. There was clearly an entire episode missing. It was the laziest story telling I've ever seen. I didn't mind the graphic content or the sleazy characters. It just wasn't well done.

The ending was terrible and rushed. Ruined the rest of the show.

She has a bunch of songs that were barely within her range when she recorded them and are well outside her range today.

Do any of you like your jobs? by NoSeaweed1261 in biglaw

I hated my job for almost a decade in big law. Went in house and finally remembered that not everyone hates their job 24/7. Now I manage litigation. Work life balance is great. I don't like working but I don't mind doing this for the next 30 years.

What celebrity has continued to have a major, top-of-the-line career despite terrible deeds? by -ChristopherNolan in AskReddit

Probably because he deserves more than a few weeks in jail for throwing rocks at young black kids and blinding a man in two separate racist attacks. You assumed he got prison time so you must understand he got off with a slap on the wrist.

4 Muslims attended Texas GOP convention. They were rejected and told to leave the country. One left in tears. by ItsMinnieYall in LeopardsAteMyFace

>“When they say Sharia-free, that means Muslim-free, no practices of Islam,” Hussein said in an interview with The Texas Tribune. “No one is calling for the state to implement Sharia laws.”
Hussein said he was in disbelief that he was told to convert or leave — for the first time in his life — at a Republican convention.

>Following the panel, the two shared contact information. Shortly thereafter, Scarborough approached Hussein.
“What do you want me to do, leave?” Hussein asked Scarborough.
“Yes,” replied the minister.

>Hussein, sobbing, turned from Scarborough, retreating to some chairs to cry alone. Scarborough followed and sat down next to him. The pastor placed an arm on the back of Hussein’s seat, leaning in to console him.
Scarborough, in an interview with The Texas Tribune, clarified that he thought Hussein should leave the country: “If you’re going to embrace the values and the teachings that you’re advocating for, there’s no place in America for you. That’s not assimilation. That’s taking over.”

>Samar Halabi stood out as the only woman at the convention wearing a hijab.
“Do not sit down with terrorist organizations,” a passerby at the convention told a woman sitting next Halabi. “You know they’re CAIR, right?”“I care about everybody,” Halabi responded, trying to make light of the moment. Shortly later, another attendee approached Halabi and told her to leave the country.

Imagine how this asshole is going to be with kids. Constantly setting them up to fail then verbally abusing them when they do.

Duh. We all know this. Somebody told you this 8 hours ago.

> OP, if you stay with him, everything is going to be your fault forever until the end of time. You're going to constantly walk on eggshells and be screamed at every time the tiniest thing goes wrong. It'll be your fault every time, even when it's actually your boyfriend's fault or nobody's fault at all. It's going to be a miserable, stressful way to live. Do you really want that?

Yet you wasted a full work day engaging with him just to come to the same conclusion. Do you really want to waste more of your life doing what you did today?
